The 10th China Three Gorges International Tourism Festival will be held in Yichang Held, the new hall in Yichang is about to open!

Yichang New Hall is located on the bank of Berlin River in Wujiagang District, opposite the Yichang Planning Exhibition Hall. From a distance, it looks like a huge "ancient tripod". The main building of the museum is based on the concept of "Window of History", which integrates Bachu historical and cultural elements and has the historical and cultural characteristics of Yichang.

Yichang New Museum is located on the bank of Berlin River in Wujiagang District, opposite the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. Its main building area is 43,081 square meters, and its design is based on the concept of "window to history". The museum has nearly 50,000 pieces (sets) of cultural relics, including the famous Changyang Man fossils, Sun Man stone carvings, typical Daxi culture objects, Chu Ji Bao Zhong, Xu Prince Ding and other Bachu culture collections, as well as hundreds of rare animal specimens.

Currently, the Yichang Museum has eight themed exhibition areas, namely: Open Hongmeng System, Natural Selection, Ancient Xiling, Qianzai Gorge, Bachu Yiling, Style Three Gorges, Scholarly and Ink Rhythm, and Modern Yichang.

Yichang New Museum is located on the bank of Bailin River in the Yichang East Railway Station area, next to Qiuyutai Park. After the new museum is completed, it will become a cultural landmark in Yichang.

The exterior walls are made of strip-shaped stones of different shades, presenting the "Huba Chu style" pattern with a vivid surface, showing that "Ba people worship tigers, Chu people worship phoenix, and tigers and phoenixes sing together" design effect.

The decoration of the exterior walls is quite appropriate and consistent with the decoration style found in the museum collection. The main building area of ??the new museum is 43,080 square meters, and the total exhibition area reaches 15,247 square meters. With the theme of "The Gorge Full of Sky", the exhibition has 10 exhibition panels and 33 units, displaying more than 7,000 pieces/set of cultural relics (folklore exhibits, etc.). )

The new building has four floors, divided into three floors above ground and one underground floor. The first three floors are the museum exhibition hall, and the fourth floor is the party history and local chronicle exhibition hall, which will become an encyclopedia of humanities and history in Yichang.
