Furong River Scenic Area is a national key scenic spot in Jiangxia, which is characterized by carbonate karst landform, the beauty, danger, strangeness, beauty and seclusion of Furong Cave and Furong River Canyon, combined with the protection of langurs, and mainly focuses on sightseeing, water sports and scientific research. Furong River originates from Shiwengzi, Suiyang County, Guizhou Province, flows through Guizhou and Chongqing provinces from south to north, and joins Wujiang River at the mouth of Wulong River, with a total length of 23 1km, which is the largest tributary of Wujiang River.

Furong River was called Suishui in ancient times, also known as Pangu River. Because there are many hibiscus trees along the coast of Jiangkou Town at the intersection with Wujiang River, it is called Furong River. On the 35km (Chongqing section) green jade belt, there are different landscapes such as Jiangxia, Yan Feng, Tanxi and Waterfall, and the natural scenery is particularly unique. The scenic spot is located in Zhuzixi of Furong River in Haokou Township, Wulong County, Chongqing, and Jiangkou Town where Furong River meets Wujiang River. The main reach is 35km long, with a total area of100.75km2, of which the core scenic area is 23.92km2.. It mainly includes the coastal scenic spot with Furong River as the main river and the Furong Cave scenic spot as the scenic spot. Traffic guide

Wulong to Furong River Scenic Area ***2 1 km, you can drive along the expressway in Chongqing to Wulong and then to Jiangkou. You can also drive directly to Furong Cave along Line 3 19, or take the train to Wulong first, then get off at Wulong Bus Station, take the shuttle bus from Wulong to Jiangkou (the fare from Wulong to Jiangkou is 6 yuan), then take a taxi to Furong River Scenic Area, or charter a bus to the tourist distribution center.
