How many times can mainland tourists go to Hong Kong a week?

There is no limit to the number of mainland tourists visiting Hong Kong. However, there are certain restrictions on the duration of each stay in Hong Kong. According to the Exit and Entry Administration Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Public Security, there are three types of travel endorsements for mainland residents in Hong Kong:

1. Personal Travel Endorsement (G Endorsement): The validity period can be 3 months or 1 year, and each stay in Hong Kong is 7 days. In other words, if you hold a personal travel endorsement, you can go to Hong Kong several times within one year, but each stay in Hong Kong cannot exceed 7 days.

2. Group Travel Endorsement (L Endorsement): The validity period is generally 3 months, and each stay in Hong Kong is 7 days. Similar to individual travel endorsements, group travel endorsements can also go to Hong Kong several times within one year, but each stay cannot exceed 7 days. The difference is that the group travel endorsement needs to follow the tour group in and out of Hong Kong.

3. Business endorsement (S endorsement): Generally, the validity period is 3 months to 1 year, and each stay in Hong Kong is usually 7 days, 14 days or 30 days. Business endorsements are mainly aimed at mainland residents who go to Hong Kong on business. You can go to Hong Kong many times within one year, but each stay cannot exceed the specified period within the validity period of the endorsement.

It should be noted that the specific endorsement type and stay period may vary from region to region. Please refer to the actual endorsement information. If in doubt, please consult the local exit-entry administration department or consult relevant policies and regulations.
