What are the attractions in Xiaguan City, Dali?

1. Taihe City Ruins

The Taihe City Ruins are located in Taihe Village, Xiaguan Town, Dali City, Yunnan Province, in Xiaguan (Longweiguan Pass during the Nanzhao Period). It is at the foot of the Buddha Peak of Cangshan Mountain between Dali, 6 kilometers away from Xiaguan in the south, and 7 kilometers away from the ancient city of Dali in the north.

2. Fotu Temple Pagoda

Fotu Temple Pagoda is located in front of Fotu Temple on the north side of Yangping Village, Xiaguan Town, Dali City. Nanxi is three kilometers away from Xiaguan in the south and about 500 meters away from National Highway 214 in the east.

3. Nanzhao Dehua Stele

The Nanzhao Dehua Stele was engraved in the fifteenth year of Zanpu Zhong in Nanzhao, that is, the Dali Year of the Tang Dynasty (766 AD). It is 3.02 meters high, 2.27 meters wide and 0.58 meters thick. It is made of bluestone and has a formal script, but the text is severely eroded. There are more than 3,800 words inscribed on the stele, but only 320 words remain.

4. Mass Tomb

The Tianbao Warrior Tomb of the Tang Dynasty, commonly known as the Mass Tomb, is located on the south side of the west section of Tianbao Street in Xiaguan. In the 10th year of Tianbao (751) and the 13th year of Tianbao (754), Tang Xuanzong sent Xianyu Zhongtong and Li Mi to conquer Nanzhao twice with 180,000 troops, but the entire army was annihilated and Li Mi died in battle. Ge Luofeng collected the corpses of Tang soldiers and buried them here, which is called the "Ten Thousand Tombs".

5. Thousand Mass Tomb

The Thousand Mass Tomb is located in the east of Jiupu Village, Xiaguan Town, Dali City, in the west of Dishiqu Village, and on the south side of National Highway 320.

It is a circular mound with a diameter of 8 meters and a height of 2.5 meters. It is also the tomb of soldiers killed in Tianbao period of Tang Dynasty
