First of all, I started playing drums at the age of 11, but couldn’t , because I didn't really practice 't rehearse. So I basically just played some practice hitting the couch or ever fitting in with the goal of being offered a place. After leaving this band We started playing Emppu together and got a permanent place to rehearse. It was a blessing that from then on we were able to play every day if we felt like it. At 17 years old (if I remember correctly) Tuomas Emppu invited me to join a program called Nightwish and the rest is history.

I started taking drum lessons at 11 years old, but couldn't really put it into practice until I had a rehearsal space, so I used something that you could practice with first. The band was called "The Highway" when I was 11-12 years old and it was a real rock band. Then when I was 15 or 16 years old, I joined the band and we had a rehearsal space that would go on twice a week. After quitting the band, I (NIGHTWISH guitarist) continued to play together and had a completely permanent rehearsal space where we could practice regularly from then on. First, we practiced Finnish rock music. We practiced some heavy metal music, Lingyun (a famous Finnish heavy metal band), Halloween (a famous German metal band), Ingwe Marma's Sting (guitarist), etc. If I remember correctly, when I was 17 years old Tuomas.
