USD 2,000 (half discount for children under 14 years old). A residence permit is required when applying.
(2) Those who visit relatives, travel abroad, travel abroad at their own expense to participate in international academic reports, or are employed as teachers can redeem US$1,000 when going to Hong Kong and Macau, and US$2,000 when traveling to countries and regions outside Hong Kong and Macau (including Taiwan). When applying, provide the bank with your passport, visa, invitation to give lectures abroad, certificate of work unit and exit documents.
(3) Self-funded students studying abroad and self-funded pilgrims can redeem 2,000 US dollars at one time. When applying, you must present your passport, exit certificate, and study abroad admission notice, and pilgrims must provide documents from the provincial religious affairs administration.
If you order medicines, medical equipment, etc. by mail from overseas, you can exchange them up to US$1,000. When applying, please present the hospital certificate, doctor's prescription, and workplace certificate.
(4) Due to illness or accident after a domestic resident leaves the country to settle down, relatives in the country need to remit money abroad, which can be exchanged for US$1,000. When applying, present valid certificates from the local hospital and notary department where you have settled abroad (or certificates from our embassy or consulate abroad).
