Luoyang City, referred to as "Luo", also known as Luoyi and Luojing, is a prefecture-level city in Henan Province. Day 1: Longmen Grottoes. Longmen Grottoes is the most famous attraction in Luoyang. Tickets are 90 yuan, half price for students. Get off at the high-speed rail station and take bus No. 71 directly there. It takes about 20 minutes by bicycle. The Longmen Grottoes are very large and you must plan more than half a day to visit them. The most worth seeing are all in the Xishan Grottoes. Personally, I suggest that there is no need to go to the Dongshan Grottoes.
White Horse Temple: White Horse Temple is known as the first ancient temple in China. It also takes half a day to visit. There are many foreign-style temples. Tickets are 35 yuan, half price for students. The bus from Longmen Grottoes to Baima Temple requires a transfer, which takes about an hour. Lijingmen (Old City Cross Street): In the evening, you can go to Old City Cross Street. This is the most famous snack street in Luoyang. It has a unique flavor. At the other end of the cross street is Lijingmen. There are antique shops on both sides, where you can buy some souvenirs. . There is no admission fee in the old city, but tickets are required to go up to the Lijingmen Tower. From Baima Temple to Cross Street, you can take bus No. 58 or No. 56 directly.
The next day’s itinerary: The scenic spots are all concentrated in the urban area. Tiantang Mingtang was once the place where Wu Zetian was in power. Running Man also visited. The recommended play time is 2-3 hours. Tickets are slightly more expensive, 120 yuan for adults (half price for students). Yingtianmen: Yingtianmen is right opposite Tiantang Mingtang. It’s not fun inside. Just take photos and check in outside. Jiuzhou Pool: Yingtianmen is very close to Jiuzhou Pool. You can just ride a bicycle to enjoy it. There are performances and the recommended play time is 1-2 hours. Guanlin Temple: Guanlin Temple is a place to commemorate Guan Yu. Recommended play time is 1-2 hours. Tickets are 40 yuan, half price for students. Jiuzhou Pond can be reached by taking bus No. 55. Luoyi Ancient City: It’s best to visit Luoyi Ancient City at night. This is a new tourist attraction in Luoyang, with performances and the Wenfeng Tower light show. No tickets are required, but you need to swipe your ID card to enter. You can take bus 58 or 74 directly from Guanlin Temple.
The third day’s itinerary: the National Garden of China. If it is not the peony blooming season, you can ignore this attraction. Be sure to go here if the peonies are in bloom. Usually no tickets are required, and the recommended play time is 3 hours. Wangcheng Park: There is a zoo, aquarium, and amusement park in Wangcheng Park. No tickets are required, but the zoo and aquarium do. The zoo only costs 15 yuan. From China National Garden to Wangcheng Park, you can take bus 15, 78, 66, 37 directly. Tianzijialiu Museum: It can be reached by bicycle in just ten minutes from Wangcheng Park. Students who like archeology and history must not miss it. Luoyang Museum and Luoyang Planning Museum: The two museums are right next to each other and do not require tickets. It is recommended to play for 3 hours. From Luoyang Museum, take bus 1 and 77 to the train station. Take Route 1 or Route 77 in the opposite direction to Longmen High-Speed ??Railway Station.
