Aviation museum
It was built in 1986 and officially opened to the public in 1989+065438+ 10. Covering an area of more than 700,000 square meters, it has collected more than 270 aircraft, 99 national heritage aircraft and nearly 10,000 aviation cultural relics. It is a national military theme museum integrating science, technology, education and tourism, and the largest aviation museum in Asia, ranking the top five in the world.
Exhibition content
The first phase of the China Aviation Museum covers an area of about 200,000 square meters and consists of a cave exhibition hall, a treasure hall exhibition hall and an open-air exhibition area. After the second phase of the project is completed, its overall area will reach 530,000 square meters [5].

The cave exhibition hall covers an area of 20,000 square meters, and the vault is inlaid with 265 round lights, forming a starry sky landscape. Two light bands on both sides decorate the exhibition hall more spacious and bright. The exhibits in the cave exhibition hall range from China's ancient aviation inventions and discoveries to high-altitude and high-speed fighters used in the contemporary era, from foreign aircraft introduced in modern times to various types of domestic aircraft, and are displayed on both sides of the huge exhibition hall in historical chronological order. In the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the Eagle-MiG-15 Bis piloted by Air Force Commander Wang Hai stopped here. On the right side of the exhibition hall, there are also replicas of famous airplanes in the aviation history of China-Feng Ru Ⅱ, Luosiwen Ⅰ and Lenin. There are also many types of aircraft made in the Soviet Union, the United States, France, Japan, Canada, the Czech Republic and other countries. Among them, Type 99 advanced trainer made in Japan, Bo-2, La-9, LA-1,Tu-2, Jacques-12, P-5 1 and L-5 made in the United States are all world aviation treasures, with extremely high cultural relics collection and On the left side of the exhibition hall is the aircraft series produced in New China, from the first self-made beginner and fighter to the light fighter J- 12 with unique design, which completely records the development history of the aviation industry and the People's Air Force in New China. Radar, missiles, anti-aircraft guns and other weapons and equipment are also on display at the back of the exhibition hall [5].
Zhenbaoguan
Treasure Hall covers an exhibition area of 600 square meters and is divided into three exhibition halls. In the first exhibition hall, various types of remote-controlled aircraft models and realistic aircraft models produced by the Aviation Museum are exhibited. The second exhibition hall displays precious gifts presented by foreign heads of government to the leaders of the Party and government in China. The third exhibition room displays exquisite military badges, military badges and other gifts presented to the People's Air Force by foreign military delegations, aviation friends and other friendly people [5].

The outdoor exhibition area covers an area of 40,000 square meters. The open-air exhibition hall mainly displays all kinds of planes made in the world, such as the planes that Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai and Zhu De took in the 1950s and 1960s, the Tu -4 heavy bomber that Stalin gave to Mao Zedong for his birthday, the C-46 large transport plane that made great achievements in Hump Air Transport, Tibet Construction and Border Counter-offensive, and Conville who participated in the Second Aviation Uprising.

A silvery white Il-14 plane on the open-air exhibition field is one of Mao Zedong's landlines. From 1957 to 1958, Mao Zedong flew to all parts of the country 23 times by this plane. Now the cabin has been restored to the original appearance when Chairman Mao was riding, and the color photos of "Mao Zedong working on the plane" are hung on the bulkhead.
"Hero" Fighter with Red Star Shining
In Hangbo, a number of meritorious aircraft in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea are on display. For example, the MIG-15 plane painted with one solid, three imaginary and four red stars is the plane of Li Han, the fighting hero who was shot down by China army for the first time in the history of air combat to resist US aggression and aid Korea. 195112 commander Liu Yalou informed the air force party Committee from the front: "In order to encourage pilots and mechanics who shot down enemy planes, I think we can follow the Soviet method and draw a red five-star on my plane every time we shot down enemy planes." The MIG-15 plane with the words "Yu Xiang Drama Club" painted on its nose was donated by Chang Xiangyu, a famous Henan Opera performer, to the Volunteer Air Force.
