The Silk Road is an ancient trade route between China and Mediterranean countries, which runs across Asia and Europe. It starts from Chang 'an (now Xi) in China and goes west to Rome. During the Western Han Dynasty (202 -8 BC), it was opened by Zhang Qian's mission to the Western Regions, and it passed through Gansu and Xinjiang to Central Asia and West Asia, connecting Mediterranean countries. This road is also known as the "Northwest Silk Road". Because silk products have the greatest influence on the goods transported to the west, it is named. Its basic trend is based on the Han Dynasty. Starting from Xi 'an, this road is divided into three roads in China, namely: 1, Tianshan North Road: Xi 'an-Dunhuang-Hami-Urumqi-Ili-former Soviet Union-Rome; 2. Xiyu North Road: Xi 'an-Dunhuang-Hami-Turpan-Yanqi-Korla-Kuqa-Aksu-Kashgar-Pamir-Central Asia; 3. Xiyu South Road: Xi 'an-Loulan-Qiemo-Niya-Hotan-Kashgar-Pamir-Central Asia-West Asia. This caravan road connecting oasis is a road opened by human beings in the struggle against harsh nature, and it is a historic international channel.
