Shilin Village, where the scenic spot is located, is surrounded by mountains, with slopes full of green bamboo trees, tinkling springs, and the fragrance of birds and flowers. According to the genealogy record: the ancestor of the Shen family was the tenth son of King Wen of Zhou Dynasty. He was granted the title of Shen, so he took the title as his surname. His descendants came here to live in seclusion. There is an ancient well in the village. The water in the well is clear and pure. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. It is the source of drinking water for the whole village. Therefore, there is a saying that "one village has one surname and one family, and one village drinks from one ancient well."

The village is surrounded by towering old trees and lush green trees. On the mountainside of Shilin Ancient Village, beside the road into the village, there is a deep dark forest. In this forest, there is a thousand-year-old white peach tree, an ancient pine tree and five ancient torreya trees. These ancient torreya trees The trunk of the tree is thick and must be surrounded by several people. The roots of the tree are exposed and have many old spots. Although it has experienced wind, frost, rain and snow, it is still lush and green, standing proudly in the sky. People use the ancient golden pine to express blessings, the ancient torreya tree to express their fortune, and the white peach blossom tree to express their longevity. Therefore, this scenic spot is named "Fu Lu Shou Yuan", and the locals call it "Qizhutou". The most common persimmon trees in the village are persimmon trees, which are everywhere in and outside the village, in front of and behind the houses. The whole village produces more than 200,000 jins of persimmons annually. Some of the persimmon trees are so towering that they are more than three hundred years old. The largest one yields more than 1,000 kilograms per tree. Every late autumn, tomatoes are hanging on the branches inside and outside the village, up and down the hillsides, like countless small red lanterns. In addition, the red maples in the forest are like fire, and the green trees are set off, creating a beautiful autumn atmosphere. In addition to persimmons, it is also rich in high mountain cloud tea - Siming Longjian and bamboo shoots.

There is a big stream under the village. Because the stream flows through the red soil layer and is slightly red under the reflection of the red rocks, it is called Chishui Creek. Along the stream, there are Baihu Lake and Qinglong Lake. , Huagai Pool, Linglong Pool and Qiushui Long Beach, the pools are of different heights and well-proportioned. The stream flows into the pool and forms a multi-level small waterfall due to the large drop. The sound of the water hitting the boulders in the stream echoes in the valley; the water mist stirred up by the impact rises in the valley, forming a charming spectacle of the valley. There is a stone arch bridge built over the stream in the ninth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1859). It is a steep arch single-hole type with an arch height of 10 meters. In the middle of the bridge is a stone slab engraved with a pattern of lotus and lotus. There are stone guardrails on both sides, connected with mortise and tenon joints, and the words "Chishui Bridge" are engraved in the middle. After crossing the bridge, you are faced with a cliff several miles wide and more than a hundred meters high. The rock wall is also red and is called Danya. Legend has it that ancient immortals killed sheep here, dyeing the rocks and streams red, so it was also called Killing Sheep Rock. There are mixed trees and wild flowers growing in the gaps between the rocks, alternating with red and green on the rock wall, and reflected in the red water. The scenery is very beautiful, hence the name Danshan Chishui. On the cliff is engraved with the words "Danshan" written by Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty. Chishui" in four big characters.

On a mountain cliff next to Shilin Village, there are two overlapping rocks. Below is a rectangular stone pillar, with a large square stone on top. It is slightly tilted and crumbling. The locals call it "Panqi". rock". Legend has it that Lu Dongbin traveled to Dalan and saw the mountain people carrying burdens and having a hard time crossing the mountains. He felt compassion and wanted to build a bridge between two mountaintops. He just moved two huge stones as the foundation of the bridge, but was recalled by the Jade Emperor. It was not created, and only these two rocks remained. Because they were created by gods, they are also called "immortal stacked rocks". Now looking from a distance, it looks like an immortal standing on the top of the mountain, looking eastward at the sea.

There is another scenic spot that is said to be related to Lu Dongbin. In the middle of the cliff west of Shilin Village, there is a protruding rock with a large root and a pointed head, like the beak of a giant eagle. There is a cave under the beak, which is like the open mouth of a giant eagle. The locals call it Singing Eagle Cave. Legend has it that the eagle in the sky couldn't stand the loneliness in the heavenly palace. Once, while the Queen Mother was holding a peach party, and the immortals were too busy to attend to it, he sneaked out of the heaven and traveled to the lower realms. When I came here, I saw the beautiful scenery and couldn't help but open my mouth to cheer. Unexpectedly, I overexerted my jaw and dislocated it, which could not be reset. Over time, it formed a cave. Binxian from Houlu Cave came here, stayed in the cave, and saved a mountain man with the spring water in the cave. When news of this incident spread, local villagers said that a Bodhisattva appeared in the cave, set up incense and offered it as an offering, and went into the cave one after another to get water as a medicine for their illnesses.

The wonder of Danshan Chishui lies in the small openings on the rock wall, which can blow out bursts of breeze. In midsummer, there is a cool breeze; in the harsh winter, the breeze is warm. This strange situation occurs not only in the scenic area, but also in the farmhouses in the village.
