Datang Furong Garden is located in Qujiang Development Zone, south of Xi City, Shaanxi Province, southeast of Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It was rebuilt in the north of the original site of Furong Garden in Tang Dynasty, imitating the style of royal gardens in Tang Dynasty. It is the first large-scale royal garden-style cultural theme park in China that fully displays the style of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, covering an area of 1000 mu, of which the water area is 300 mu.

In the Qin Dynasty, the famous imperial forbidden garden-Yichun Garden was opened by taking advantage of the natural characteristics of the original mountains and rivers and beautiful scenery in Qujiang area, making Qujiang an important part of the imperial forbidden garden in the forest.

Datang Furong Garden started construction in 2002 and was completed in 2004. It was officially opened to the public on April 1 1 day, 2005 (the third day of the third lunar month). There are many antique buildings in Tang Furong Garden, such as Ziyun Building, Palace Palace, Apricot Garden, Fanglinyuan, Jiutian Theater and Tang Cheng. It is the largest imitation of the Tang Dynasty royal complex in China, and Zhang Jinqiu, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, is responsible for the overall planning and architectural design.

In 2002, on the north side of the original site of the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden, the first large-scale royal garden-style cultural theme park in China was built in imitation of the Tang Dynasty Royal Garden.

On April 1 1 day, 2005 (the third day of the third lunar month), Datang Furong Garden was officially opened to the public. At the beginning of its opening, Lien Chan, former chairman of the Kuomintang in Taiwan Province Province, James Soong, chairman of the People First Party, and other first guests were welcomed.
