Detailed introduction of Shitoukoumen Reservoir

Shitoukoumen Reservoir is a large-scale reservoir with comprehensive utilization of flood control and waterlogging elimination, water supply, power generation, tourism and fish farming. Yinma River is the main tributary of the Second Songhua River, which originates from Hulanling in Panshi County, passes through Panshi, Yongji, Shuangyang District of Changchun City, Jiutai District of Changchun City and Dehui, and flows into the Second Songhua River at Hongshi in Nong 'an County.

Yinma River basin covers an area of 8,255 square kilometers, and the basin above Shitoukoumen Reservoir covers an area of 4,944 square kilometers, accounting for 60% of the basin area. There are large, medium and small reservoirs and ponds 100 in the upper reaches, of which the control areas of Xingxingshao Reservoir, Huanghe Reservoir and Shuangyang Reservoir are 845 square kilometers, 784 square kilometers and 225 square kilometers respectively.

The total length of Yinma River is 367km, the length above Shitoukou Gate is 166km, and the river slope is 0.76‰. There are two tributaries of Shuangyang River and Chalu River in the upper reaches. The main stream of Yinma River from Yantong Mountain to the hills below is mountainous, the tributary Yinma River is mountainous, and Shuangyang River is hilly.
