The whole line is 342 kilometers long and the planned top speed is 350 kilometers per hour.

In order to do the preliminary work well, Xiong Xin high-speed railway is scheduled to start construction on June 1 2022, with a construction period of four and a half years. It is expected to be completed by the end of March 2027 with a total investment of 57.234 billion yuan. It is planned to set up 12 stations along the high-speed railway, of which one station is reserved, and there are four stations in Xinzhou city.

After the completion of high-speed rail construction in Xiong Xin, it can be connected with many high-speed rail lines such as Xiong Jing Commercial High-speed Railway, Xiong Jing Intercity Railway, Daxi High-speed Railway and Jinbao Railway, which will further facilitate people's travel and ease the traffic pressure of other high-speed rail lines.
