Tourism in Qiandongnan urgently needs strategy.
First of all, I still want to talk about route design. Originally, I only planned to go to Qiandongnan Prefecture, but later I found that there was plenty of time. Finally, I took the Qiandongnan+Qiannan Great Ring Road: Zhenyuan Ancient City-Kaili (Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village)-Liping (Longli Ancient City, Zhaoxing Dong Village)-Congjiang (Basha Miao Village)-Libo (large and seven small archways)-Guiyang (Qingyan).

About the weather: The weather in Guizhou is changeable. During the Spring Festival, the sun can reach 25 degrees in sunny days, but it will drop below zero in rainy days. So take down jackets and thin clothes in summer. In recent days, it's almost 20 degrees in Qiandongnan, but it's so hot to see many tourists without thin clothes.
1, Zhenyuan
Zhenyuan was chosen as the first stop of this trip because it is the most convenient place in southeastern Guizhou. Other ancient towns, Miao and Dong villages are only accessible by highway, but Zhenyuan is a city located along the railway. Zhenyuan may not be so well-known in China, but it is well-known in Guizhou, ranking first among the four ancient towns in Guizhou, and the other three are Qingyang, Chishui Bingan and Jinping Longli.
There is no direct train from Beijing to Zhenyuan, not because it doesn't pass through this railway, but because Zhenyuan Station is too small, and the train starting with T doesn't stop, so you need to change to the train starting with K at Yuping or Kaili. Fortunately, the transfer of K65 from Guangzhou at Yuping was not late, so I didn't leave the station and got on the next train. I arrived at Zhenyuan Station after 8 o'clock.
It's three kilometers from the railway station to the ancient city. 5 yuan took a taxi alone, but suggested walking, because the road would pass through Heping Village, Zhou Dawen's former residence. Zhou Dawen's former residence passed by unnoticed and only went to Heping Village, which was a Japanese prison camp during World War II. The production party brainwashed hundreds of Japanese soldiers here, and the classrooms, auditoriums, dormitories, kitchens and vegetable fields were well preserved. In fact, the Japanese who come here are really lucky. They ate and drank without fighting and were all repatriated in 45 years.
After Heping village, it is not far from the ancient city. The ancient city is located by the dancing water, which is different from the ancient towns in Jiangnan or Sichuan-Shaanxi style. Zhenyuan is a high-rise building with four or five floors of brick and wood structures, arranged according to the dancing water. From the bridge, it can be said that it is different.
The central area of the ancient city is built halfway up the mountain, which combines the layout of Jinzhong quadrangles and the architectural characteristics of Sichuan-Shaanxi dwellings. What we see now are all small courtyards, which are rare and remain unchanged in business, maintaining the original work and rest life. Besides the ancient city, there are three ancient buildings in the ancient town: Zhu Sheng Bridge, Qinglong Cave and Tianhou Palace. Zhu Sheng Bridge is nothing new, but there is a Kuixing Pavilion built on it, which is said to be related to the champion. It's really beautiful. After crossing the Zhu Sheng Bridge, you can reach Qinglong Cave, an ancient architectural complex in the Ming Dynasty. Nature is built on a mountain. If you don't want to worship Confucius, you don't have to go in, and you can enjoy it in the overall position of the ancient town. Tianhou Palace is not in the central area of the ancient city, but a small palace dedicated to Mazu, which is related to dancing and water transportation. Where there is water transportation, Mazu is blessed. Zhenyuan also has a good place-Shiping Mountain, at the foot of which is the central area of the ancient city. Climbing to the top, you can see the panoramic view of Zhenyuan, and there is also a trick to climb Shiping Mountain. If you climb from the main entrance of Shiping Mountain in the town, you need to buy a ticket, but Fuxing Lane and Sifang Well Lane in the central area of the ancient city lead to Houshan, so you don't need to buy a ticket from there. If you are not sure about the route, ask the locals. Everyone goes up the hill like that.
In Zhenyuan, the most famous is probably its night view. The colored lights on the Zhu Sheng Bridge and the houses with lanterns hanging on both sides of the new bridge are still clearly reflected in the dancing water or changing colors. At dusk, Zhenyuan shows its quiet and solemn beauty.
Summary of practical information:
Transportation:
Zhenyuan is along the railway, but expressway is far from Zhenyuan, so it is more convenient for the railway to come.
Zhenyuan-the ancient city walks 3 kilometers and takes a taxi to 5 yuan;
Tickets:
Peace village, free of charge, with ID card to get tickets;
Zhenyuan Museum, free of charge, with ID card to get tickets;
Accommodation:
It is more convenient to live in the ancient city. The proprietress of Fuyuan Inn where we live is very enthusiastic. Because it is the off-season, the waterfront room is only 80, and there is a swing on the balcony. Tel: 182 1246290,1508 529569;
Snacks:
The food in the ancient city is still relatively simple, and it is basically a small shop that makes powder. There is a kind of "Camus homemade powder" which is delicious. I ate three meals of powder in Zhenyuan that day. This is the best, 8 yuan a bowl;
