Why don't you recommend traveling to Mugecuo?

It is not recommended to travel to Mugecuo because the altitude of Mugecuo is too high and there may be some altitude sickness.

Kangding Love Song (Mugecuo) Scenic Area is located in the middle of Gongga Mountain, about 17 kilometers away from Kangding City. It is a national AAAA-level scenic spot, a world natural heritage nomination site and a national key scenic spot. The scenic spot covers an area of about 35 square kilometers, and consists of six scenic spots: Dujuan Gorge, Fangcao Lawn, Qise Sea, Yaochi Boiling Spring, Mugecuo (Savage Sea) and Red Sea Grassland. There are many other alpine lakes and hot springs nearby, and virgin forests, grasslands and snow-capped mountains blend with each other.

The Chinese name of Mugecuo is Savage Sea. Mugecuo is known as "Savage Sea" and is one of the larger alpine lakes in western Sichuan. It is more than 3,7 meters above sea level, with a water area of nearly 4 square kilometers and a water depth of over 7 meters. In addition to forests and grasslands, the scenic spot is mainly composed of the Red Sea, the White Sea, the Black Sea and more than 3 nameless seas. It is a scenic and folk-custom sightseeing area for viewing snow-capped mountains, grasslands, virgin forests, azaleas and Tibetan herdsmen. Along the canyon plank road, you can shuttle through the virgin forest, punch in the wonders of Hongshitan, and go to Qise Sea to look at the beautiful scenery of Lianhua Snow Mountain.

Scenery of Mugecuo:

The water area of Mugecuo is nearly 4 square kilometers, with a water depth of over 7 meters and an altitude of 3,7 meters. Because most of the water comes from the melting snow water of Nuwa Snow Mountain behind, the visibility is very high, generally about 6-1 meters. Mugecuo is surrounded by mountains, forests and grasslands, and dozens of small Haizi such as the Red Sea, the Black Sea and the White Sea surround it, just like the stars holding the moon. The peak on the left side of Mugecuo's estuary is called Rhinoceros Peak. On a night when the moon stars are sparse, if the moonlight like water splashes on the peak, the rhinoceros horn with the handle in the sky will emit silver cold light.

There is a landscape of "Crouching Tiger Watching the Moon" on the right side of Mugecuo's estuary, which is really like a crouching tiger looking at the sky and eyeing the rhinoceros peak. "Mugecuo" has four seasons in a day, and different days in the morning and evening. In the early morning, the fog locked the sea, and the silverdragon-like clouds rolled over the water, creating a moving landscape of "double fog falling into the sea".

when the morning sun shines on the sea, it is sparkling, and the reflection of the lake light is ever-changing and dazzling. In the afternoon, when the breeze blows on your face, the sea is "three feet without wind and waves, rolling thousands of piles of snow". Standing on the beach and looking into the distance of the smog cage, it is like coming to the ends of the earth. When the sun sets, the afterglow is all over the sea, and the gold is overflowing, the water and the sky are the same, the mountains are silent, and the blue sea is quiet.
