Notes on Going to Italy: A Brief Introduction to go on road trip, Italy

Speaking of Italy, what has the deepest and most profound influence on you? The latest Milan fashion show was held in Italy. Are you interested in going to Italy during the National Day? If you are preparing a small series for friends in go on road trip, I can tell you the precautions.

Precautions 1. We drove in Europe in July and August last year and started renting a car in Montpellier, France, because it was cheaper to rent a car in a less popular city. The car rental company is Europcar, which mainly drives for many people for free. Several other car rental companies will charge extra for adding drivers.

2. We use China driver's license+Chinese and English official documents. Official documents need to bring a driver's license and be notarized at a domestic notary office. Only after translation by the notary office can a translation be issued.

I am very lucky. I started from France and passed through Italy, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. I have never met the police to check the car. But the driver's license and official documents were always in the car.

4. Information needed for renting a car abroad: original driver's license, English driver's license certificate and credit card. It is recommended to bring an extra credit card to refuel.

5. The pilot can rent a car on the domestic car rental website. With Google Maps and mapsme, it is enough. Mapsme is very easy to use and belongs to fine coordinates. Baidu map is useless.

6. It is recommended to rent a mobile wifi or set up a calling card with sufficient local traffic, which is very practical.

7, Europe is self-service, almost no staff, if you don't understand, you can also ask the supermarket clerk at the gas station for help.

8. Only Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium are free of charge. There are many service areas and rest areas, and most toilets are charged. You should bring your own coins.

9. If the car is damaged, you'd better issue a certificate at the local police station, otherwise it seems that it will cost more to return the car in the end. When we were in Austria, we saw that the taillight seemed to be damaged, so we went to the police station and issued a certificate. The Austrian police were very good and gave us a good proof soon. But in the end, it was found that it was not damaged, but a glue line was stuck.

10, self-driving is more suitable for suburbs or small cities. If you rent a car in Italy, it is recommended to stay in Rome for 2-3 days and then start renting a car. It is difficult to find parking spaces in Pisa Leaning Tower Scenic Area, and some parking spaces only allow local vehicles to park. So remember to look at the cars around you when you stop. If you have an ID card in front, you are not allowed to park foreign vehicles. We saw that foreign vehicles were fined for parking. There are also some scenic spots where parking is inconvenient or there are other self-driving problems. If you decide to rent a car, you can ask me in private.

1 1. If you are really worried, I suggest consulting in many ways. One is to ask the car rental website, the other is to ask the car rental company, and the third is to ask the foreign staff when picking up the car.

12, most car rental companies are not allowed to enter the Czech Republic.

Travel Notes of Five Fishing Villages Five fishing villages, as the name implies, are the collective names of five small fishing villages. The five fishing village areas mentioned now include five towns under the jurisdiction of Las Pecija province: Monterosso in Montesoro, Vernazza in Vernazza, Corniglia in Cornelia, Manarola in Manarolla, Riomaggiore in Rio Maggiore, and areas and islands extending from the coast to the Ligurian Sea.

If you want to reach Wuyun Village, you must first take the train to Pecija Laspezia Railway Station, and then buy a pass for Wuyun Village at the station. Ticket price 16 euro/person. After activation, you can take the train between the five villages within 24 hours. Generally, there will be a bus every 20-30 minutes, and the drive between each village is about 5 minutes.

The five villages are arranged along the coastline. You can choose to play from Rio maggiore in Maggiore, which is closest to Laspezia main station in Las Pecija, and vice versa. We choose to take the train to the farthest Montessoro and then play from north to south.

The fifth village: monterroso

Montesoro, located in a small bay, is the largest of the five villages. Among the gravel beaches along the Mediterranean, only Mengcun has a small ivory beach, so many people come here for vacation. Walking along the coastline, the orange and green parasols stretch for 1 km, and the characteristic boulder in Mengcun is in the distance. But what is more attractive is undoubtedly the blue water and dazzling sunshine of the Mediterranean. Empty on the lounge chair, the endless blue sea is displayed in front of you. Buying a mixed fried seafood with cold beer is also the most enjoyable way for Europeans to spend their holidays.

The fourth village: Vernazza

Temple Village is the most famous village in Wuyun Village at present. The scenic spots in this village are the most abundant, including ancient churches, vineyards on hillsides and castles on rocks. Similarly, once you have fame, there will be the most people!

Out of the station is the way to the village directly, but we didn't enter the village, but went out of the station and went around the back. There is a hiking route to Sancun Cornelia. Climbing halfway up the mountain is an excellent place to take pictures, overlooking the whole village. On the way to climb the mountain, I will pass by the local villagers' homes. Don't go in with curiosity, because it's all private territory, and it's very uncivilized to enter at will.

Village 3: cornelia

Cornelia is the commanding height of five fishing villages. From the railway station by the sea to the town at the top of the mountain, you need to climb more than 300 stairs. Because it is difficult to reach, it has become the quietest and most traditional place. We went there in high spirits, but we were defeated by the scorching sun as soon as we got off the train. Looking up at the distant mountains, we decided to give up.

The second village: Manarolla

Knowing that the Five Fishing Villages started with a photo, I think most people have seen this photo. This is the most famous postcard shooting place in Wuyun Village, Manarolla.

There are also many tourists by the sea. Vacationers and tourists mingle. It's really lively! This village is very small, and the most famous is the small houses scattered on the cliff. When you get out of the station, you can go to the seaside by crossing Little Square. You can walk along the seaside road to the hillside, and you can go to the shooting place of classic pictures. This village is very lively. If you have time, you must choose a restaurant, eat some seafood and sit around for a while, which is particularly comfortable. After visiting the second village, I wanted to visit the first village, but the train didn't come and there were many people waiting for the bus. We calculated the time and finally decided not to go to the first village and went straight back to our residence.

Village 1: Rio Maggiore

Although we didn't go to the first village, I knew something about it. One of the most famous places here is the Road of Love, which was originally built to build a railway between Manarolla and Rio Maggiore. But with huge stone terraces on one side and cliffs on the other, it has gradually become a favorite place for couples to walk, so it is called the road to sex. Unfortunately, it's closed now, and I don't know when it will reopen.

It is no problem to visit these five fishing villages in a day like ours, but it is meaningless to just look at them. This time we are getting familiar with each other. Of these five fishing villages, in terms of beautiful scenery, it is enough to go to the second and fourth village, and the third village is the quietest. If you like swimming and sunbathing at the seaside, go directly to the fifth village.

Travel on the road tips 1. Pedestrians have absolute right of way, and cars must be given to others;

2. Turn on the low beam during the day;

The most important point is that most cities and villages in Italy have ZTL restricted areas. It must be noted that there will be obvious signs in the distance, which will indicate the time requirements and vehicle restrictions. Generally speaking, there is no restriction in ZTL District on Sundays.

4. High-speed charging is the same as ours. It's convenient to go in and get the bill and pay out. There are credit card channels and cash channels to choose from when paying.

Generally speaking, yellow means no parking, blue means charging, and white means free. Self-parking places usually find self-service payment machines around.

6. Google navigation can basically cover many areas, but I still rented tomtom's navigation online. For example, when there is no signal in Tuscany, it is a good helper.

7. And most importantly, about the driver's license.

The Italian official explanation is as follows: According to Article 135 of the new traffic law, people who hold China driver's license (including Italian citizens living in China) can drive in Italy, "as long as they are not residents who have lived for more than one year, they also hold an international driver's license or an official Italian translation of their driver's license".

The official Italian translation mentioned above is the translation certification of Italian diplomatic institutions abroad, and it does not need notarization.

To apply for Italian translation certification of China driver's license, you need to submit an application to the Consular Office of the Italian Embassy in China.

In other words, the most formal way is to go to the embassy for certification, which is what we do. After all, it is the safest, and the certification fee is 13 Euros.

What should I pay attention to when driving in Italy during question and answer time?

The first thing you need to pay attention to when driving is your driver's license, because in other EU countries, it is legal to use the public certificate of domestic driver's license, but in Italy, you can rent a car with a translated and notarized driver's license, but it is illegal if you meet a policeman on the road. Therefore, it is best to find Taobao for an international driver's license, and the price is not expensive. It seems to be several hundred yuan. Basically, they are very disciplined when driving in Europe. They don't drive like crazy. The speed is basically 1 10- 130. There will be speed limit signs on the road sections. Please note that once the speeding fine is high and it is directly added to the car, the car rental agency will deduct it from your credit card guarantee after you return home. Rules are the most important! Their road conditions are good, don't worry. There are many places to refuel and many service areas to talk about. The key is to distinguish between gasoline and diesel. More than 90% gas stations operate their own refueling, and some even pay their own DIY, which may need attention. Trains are also more convenient, faster and more comfortable. Self-driving or train+self-driving are good choices. Our trip was mainly by car, and we went to Wuyun Village by train on the way.

Is there a parking space in Pisa?

The leaning tower of Pisa is about 10 minutes' walk, and there is a huge free parking lot, which is super convenient. There is also a parking lot next to the leaning tower, but there are many people crowded and you can still choose. This free parking lot can be directly navigated by searching "checkpiontpisa" on Googlemap. If you use maps.me, you can locate "ParkPietrasantina", which is the same.

Italian tourist routes

1. It is recommended to rent a car to Florence after visiting Rome.

2. It is not recommended to drive in downtown Florence and park in hotels outside ZTL.

3. Wuyun Village is inconvenient to drive and difficult to park. You can stop in Las Pecija, and then take the train to visit Wuyun Village.

You can't drive in Venice. You can only park in the only parking lot on the main island, and then take a tour in water bus.
