A pair of comfortable hiking shoes (do not wear new shoes that will scratch your feet easily or slippery);

Sandals One pair (the two of us brought Crocs. We encountered springs and streams in the back mountain. It was very comfortable to walk in the water. It was even more convenient when it rained. Don’t bring slippery shoes);

A rainproof long-sleeved jacket, if it’s cold on the mountain;

A pair of quick-drying trousers, the kind with two detachable sections is recommended. They are shorts when hiking, but when it’s cold on the mountain, add the trousers and turn them into trousers.

Raincoats, when encountering heavy rain, some jackets are not waterproof enough. Of course, if your jacket is very powerful, then you don’t need it.

A hat, slightly waterproof for sun protection and light rain.

Waterproof sealed bag: put it in your backpack when hiking, stuff it with your mobile phone and important documents, you are not afraid of rain;

Backup power supply to prevent the mobile phone from running out of power;

Flashlight, one for each person. It is very dark on the mountain at night, so flashlight is a must;

If you have an MP3 player that can be played externally, you can bring it with you. It will be fun to listen to music while climbing the mountain, and it will not be so tiring.

2. "Three disciplines and eight points of attention" for climbing Mount Tai

Three disciplines for climbing Mount Tai:

1. Protect the natural environment and do not mess around Throw away trash and avoid uncivilized behavior. Never light a fire on the mountain. Doing so can easily cause a mountain fire and is illegal.

2. Choose a mountain road with clear road signs. Do not wander or find another route on your own, and do not leave existing mountain roads and enter the grass or woods at will to avoid getting lost or causing accidents.

3. When going out, safety always comes first. Pay attention to various warning signs and try not to go to dangerous places; do not eat wild fruits; do not drink mountain water; be careful of scratches on plants; be careful of poisonous insect bites; and walk in groups in secluded places.

Eight things to note when climbing:

1. It is recommended to buy an insurance with the ticket, which costs 2 yuan per person.

2. Cloth shoes, sneakers, travel shoes, and hiking shoes are suitable for hiking. High heels are definitely not allowed. It is best not to wear new shoes. No matter how beautiful new shoes are, they may not fit your feet. It is also appropriate to dress loosely and easily for movement.

3. Mountaineering is an activity that consumes a lot of physical strength. Whenever you climb a mountain, you will sweat profusely. Do not sit on the wet ground or in the wind vents when taking a break. You can loosen your collar slightly and do not take off your clothes for a while. Take off your hat to prevent colds.

4. Climbing mountains is for fitness or fun. Don’t always think about how high the mountain is, how long the road is, and how long it will take to climb up. Pick up your mood and climb slowly and calmly. When you are tired, you can stop and appreciate the surrounding scenery. When you are thirsty, sit down and drink some water. Only in this way can you experience the fun of climbing and not miss the beautiful scenery. Climbing will also become easier.

5. The wind is usually strong at the top of the mountain, so be sure to add more clothes at any time to avoid catching a cold.

6. When it rains, do not use an umbrella but a poncho. This is to protect against lightning and prevent winds on the mountain. Dalian people bring umbrellas for rides; when walking on the mountain in snowy days, you must pay more attention to preventing slipping.

7. See the scenery without walking, and walk without looking at the scenery. Pay special attention to safety when taking photos, choose a safe location and angle, pay attention to whether the rocks are in danger of slipping, and avoid standing on the edge of the cliff or climbing on the rocks to take photos or view the scenery.

8. Don’t walk too fast when going down the mountain, let alone run. Otherwise, the knees and leg muscles will feel excessive tension, causing knee joint injuries or muscle strains. Moreover, if you walk downhill too fast, the human body has motion inertia, which may cause you to stumble and fall. Pay attention to relaxing your muscles when resting. Being too tight will put greater pressure on the leg joints and make the muscles tired.
