1. Pengsha Academy: located in Wenci Road, Lincuo Village, Waisha Town, longhu district, Shantou City, Guangdong Province, formerly known as Wenci. Founded in the ninth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1869), it was a place to promote learning and educate people at that time. It is the most comprehensive and largest college in Shantou.

2. Cocoon Island: Located in Shantou Port, with an area of 1 km2. There are bathing beaches and accommodation facilities on the island.
