I want to travel to Hong Kong, what documents do I need?

If you want to go to Hong Kong, you need to apply for the "Hong Kong and Macau Pass" + Hong Kong endorsement.

Apply at the place of household registration: I bring my ID card and photo + photo receipt to the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of the Public Security Bureau where the household registration is located. You can make an appointment online.

Applying in cities that are open to non-registered residents: household registration certificate/hukou paper is required, and employed persons (except for registration and filing national staff) must provide an additional city residence permit valid for one year or more (i.e. (has been applied for at least one year) and a social security guarantee in this city for one consecutive year from the month of application (breaks and repayments are not counted); students currently studying in colleges and universities must add a certificate issued by the school and a student ID card.

If the old certificate is still valid, please bring it with you to have the corners clipped. If it has been lost, you must first go to the police station to report the loss.

If you are a registered national staff member, you must also take the application back to your unit to have it stamped with an approval seal.

The following is the process:

1. Fill out the form on the official website of the Immigration and Entry Department to make an appointment. There will be optional dates within one month and detailed processing addresses in the jurisdiction;

< p>2. Bring your documents to the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau according to the appointment time to fill out and submit the form;

3. Pay with bank card as required;

4. Receive the certificate application receipt;

5. Collect it with your ID card and receipt on or after the date shown on the receipt. Within 15 working days for the place of registered residence, and within 30 working days for non-registered places.
