Comparison between Tourism and Sightseeing

This is a conceptual problem. Tourism and sightseeing belong to two different concepts.

Tourism is a concept in the economic field and belongs to the tertiary industry among the three industries. The primary production is agriculture, the secondary production is industry and the tertiary production is service industry, so tourism belongs to the category of service industry. The main indicators to measure tourism are: total tourism revenue, tourist volume, etc.

Tourism is a concept in the social field. The social field mainly includes social undertakings such as education, health, culture, science and technology, and of course tourism. Social undertakings are mainly services provided by the government, and tourism mainly refers to tourist facilities and places provided by the government for people to play, relax and spend their holidays.
