An essay about traveling to Nankunshan Grand View Garden, about 200 words and 400 words

Today is a good day because my family and I are going to the Grand View Garden, the place where Dream of Red Mansions was filmed. I heard that the green trees and beautiful scenery there make it a good place for tourism.

As soon as we got there, the first thing that caught our eyes were the three shining golden characters of "Grand View Garden". There are two pillars inlaid with gold rims next to them, which shine brightly in the sunlight.

We entered the gate by car, and I decided to go to the Peony Pavilion. "Hey! This pavilion is so beautiful!" The aunt sitting by the window shouted. We looked up: the red-painted pillars and green-painted railings had a unique atmosphere. The roof made of glazed tiles and the trees next to it make people feel like a stroke of genius. When we walked into the pavilion, a gust of wind blew towards us, which was refreshing.

There is a gravel road extending to the left around the pavilion. We followed the gravel road to Yihongyuan, the residence of Jia Baoyu, the hero in Dream of Red Mansions. There are two lions squatting in front of Yihongyuan. One is a male, and there is a stone ball under its feet, as if it is playing with a ball! The other is a female, with a little lion lying under its belly. The lioness seems to be breastfeeding the lion. Entering the courtyard is Jia Baoyu's study. There is only a desk and chair made of mahogany inside. There is a book, pen and paper on the desk. The backrest of the chair is carved with peonies, which is very beautiful. Further forward is Jia Baoyu's bedroom. The layout in the bedroom is very simple, with only a wooden bed.

We then went to Lin Daiyu’s residence, Xiaoxiang Pavilion. As soon as I entered the door, the yard was full of bamboos. When a gust of wind blew, the bamboos danced in the yard, which was very beautiful. There are rockeries everywhere around the yard, and birds shuttle among them, forming the most beautiful picture in winter. Walking into the corridor, you will come to Lin Daiyu's bedroom.

"Ah!! It's so scary!" Grandma let out a scream of more than 1,000 decibels.

"What's wrong?" the aunt asked eagerly.

"Look!" Grandma pointed to Lin Daiyu's bedroom with her index finger. We took a look inside: Ah! The wax figure of Lin Daiyu was lying on the bed, holding a book in her hand and reading it with relish. It turns out that grandma was frightened by Lin Daiyu’s wax figure. After visiting the Xiaoxiang Pavilion, we went to the Aojing Pavilion, Ziling Island, etc.

This trip to the Grand View Garden was so interesting!
