In the early years of the Northern Song Dynasty, Tian Hao, a native of Licheng, settled in Mingshui, set up a museum to teach apprentices, and trained hundreds of scholars. The People's Commune Management Committee was restored in December 1980. In January 1983, Mingshui Commune was divided into the Mingshui Town Government and the Xiujiang Commune Management Committee. In February 1984, the Xiujiang Commune Management Committee merged with the Mingshui Town Government, and the Mingshui Town People's Government was established to this day.

Character profile

Li Qingzhao (1084~1156) called himself Yi An Jushi and was a native of Mingshui. The daughter of Li Gefei, a famous writer in the Song Dynasty, she is the most famous female poet in Chinese history. Li Mian (1490~1563), whose courtesy name was Duanfu and whose name was Maiquan, was born in Mingshui. He became a Jinshi in the fifth year of Jiajing reign of Ming Dynasty (1526). He was upright throughout his life, enforced the law impartially, was honest and self-sufficient, and dared to fight against traitors and sycophants. He was sometimes promoted, often excluded, and relegated. Finally, because of his disobedience to Yan Song and others, he was forced to retire due to his old illness.

Liu Zhaoyi (1870~?) Haozifeng was born in Xiying Village. He once served as a member of the House of Representatives of the Beiyang Government and was a close friend of Xu Shichang, President of the Beiyang Government. In 1927, he was appointed by Zhang Zongchang as the director of the Shandong Autonomy Preparatory Department. In 1930, Han Fuju took charge of the Queen of Lu, gradually lost power and withdrew from politics.

Liu Jingyu (1917~1974), whose original name was Zhang Xihou, was from Gaojiapo. He participated in the revolution in 1937 and joined the Communist Party of China in the same year. He has successively served as Chief of Staff of the Fourth Detachment of the Zhinan Special Committee, Deputy Director of the Political Department of the Third District of Southern Hebei Province, Secretary of the Wencheng County Party Committee, Organization Director of the First Prefecture Committee in Southern Hebei, Propaganda Director of the Fifth Prefecture Committee, Secretary of the Xigang District Party Committee of Dalian City, and Secretary of the Lushun Municipal Party Committee, etc. job. Li Zhendong (1918~1976) was born in Dongcun, Shanyang. He participated in the revolution in 1937 and joined the Communist Party of China the following year. During the war years, he fought in the north and south, participated in many famous battles, and served successively as company commander, deputy battalion commander, and battalion commander. After liberation, he was transferred to the Beijing Garrison District as deputy commander and commander. He died of injuries in Beijing in 1975.

Cheng Chongyuan (1917~1991) was a native of Chajiu Village and a member of the Communist Party of China. He has successively served as Minister of Military Industry of the Logistics Department of the Hebei-Shandong-Henan Military Region, Deputy Director of the Infrastructure Design Department of the Ministry of National Fuel Industry, Deputy Director of the Design Department of the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, Deputy Director of the East China Electric Power Administration Bureau, and Secretary of the Party Committee and Principal of Shanghai Electric Power School. Zhao Xingyuan was born in 1925, a member of the Communist Party of China and a native of Qianying Village. Kang Yuzong was born in Qianjing Village in 1932 and is a professor at Northern Jiaotong University in Beijing.
