Is the Beijing shooting range open to the public?

There are two shooting ranges in Beijing: China North International Shooting Range and Beijing Olympic Shooting Range, both of which are open to the public.

1. China North International Shooting Range

is located about 1.5km west of Nankou Town, Changping District, Beijing, and was built by the only national light weapons research institute in China. It is located near the Ming Tombs, Badaling, Huyu Scenic Area, Beijing Miniature Garden, Minghuang Wax Palace and other tourist attractions. The Northern Shooting Range is the first large-scale tourist place in China to carry out recreational shooting activities.

It was opened to visitors on July 9, 1987. It is a large-scale comprehensive entertainment venue with recreational shooting activities as its main business. It consists of a weapons museum, a multi-directional flying saucer training ground, a civilian gun shooting area, a shooting club and a multi-functional confrontation training ground.

2. Beijing Olympic Shooting Range

is located in the east of Xishankou Village, Ming Tombs Town, Changping District, and the west of Wohu Mountain. It is adjacent to Beijing-Xinjiang Expressway and Beijing-Tibet Expressway, Beijing-Badaling Expressway in the south, and National Highway 11 and Shenlu Road in the Ming Tombs across the mountain. Hunting manor lies in Yanshan Mountain in the north, facing Beijing in the south, overlooking Gouya Scenic Area in the north and Huyu Scenic Area in the west.

There is a light weapons exhibition hall, which displays more than 13 kinds of light weapons designed and manufactured by China and other countries in the world, including military and civilian weapons such as pistols, rifles and machine guns. The existing shooting events at the shooting range include flying saucers, pitbull and other civilian guns. We have different styles of sports guns, which can shoot 25 meters, 5 meters moving targets and 1 meters fixed targets. Can meet the needs of consumers at different levels.

Introduction of shooting events

1. Pistol events: It is divided into two shooting distances of 15m and 25m, and the shooter holds a gun with one hand or both hands in a standing position to shoot.

2. UFO events: divided into three events: UFO multi-directional, bidirectional and double multi-directional.

3. Rifle events: There are three shooting distances of 5m, 1m and 2m for consumers to choose from.
