Is it better to live in Tunxi or Tangkou?

If you want to go to Huangshan Scenic Area, it is more convenient to stay at Tangkou.

Tangkou is at the foot of Huangshan Mountain. If you drive here, you can only stop at Tangkou Town and then transfer to the scenic bus to get to the ticket gate of Huangshan Mountain. (One-way scenic bus 19 yuan/person, half an hour's drive)

Tunxi is located in the center of Huangshan Mountain, 70 kilometers away from Tangkou of Huangshan Scenic Area, with a drive of 1 hour.

To visit Huangshan Mountain, you should take the scenic bus to the ticket gate early in the morning, buy tickets early, and less queue up on the ropeway.
