Japanese business visas are generally applicable to Japanese companies that send invitations (for example, if the parent company is in Japan, it will set up a company in China and send China employees to Japan for short-term business trips, while tourist visas and long-term work visas are not included in short-term business visas).

1. Application conditions

In principle, if a visa applicant meets all the following requirements, a visa will be issued:

1. The applicant holds a valid passport and has the right and qualification to re-enter the country of return or residence.

2. The application materials are true and conform to the regulations.

3. The activities or identity, status and duration of stay of the applicant in Japan meet the requirements of the entry and exit countries and refugee recognition laws.

4. The applicant does not meet any of the items in Item 1 of Article 5 of the Administration Law.

2. Materials required for Japanese business visa:

(1) Materials required by China company and myself:

1. Photos;

2. Passport: The applicant's passport must be within the validity period;

3. A copy of the household registration book;

4. Personnel information registration form (temporary residence permit or residence permit);

(2) Invitation materials for Japanese companies:

1. Letter of reasons for recruitment;

in the column of inviter, the company, address, position, name and contact telephone number must be stated, and it must be stamped (if the foreigner has no seal, he must sign it). Company groups need to stamp the representative seal or company seal.

2. Body guarantee;

if the inviter is the director of the central provincial office of the Japanese government, the research institute of an independent legal person in the country, and a university professor or associate professor or above, it can be omitted when inviting for official business (when the guarantor is sponsored by an enterprise, the guarantor should have the qualifications of a minister, department head, factory head or above)

3. If the reservation is delayed, it is necessary to leave enough time to apply for a visa. The general visa processing time is 9-1 working days. The starting time of the detention reservation form is 1 working days after the submission date.

4. Information about the inviting unit

The state or local government does not need to provide it when inviting. At the invitation of a professor or associate professor in a research institution with an independent national legal person or above, the "employment certificate" can be used instead.

Third, the application process

1. Confirm the consulate where the Japanese visa is applied;

2. The "receiving unit" in Japan applies for the payment certificate online (the website of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare), and after receiving the "payment certificate", it sends the payment certificate and other Japanese materials to the applicant;

3. The applicant submits the "Payment Certificate" and other business visas to Japanese embassies and consulates abroad to apply for visas;

4. Negative certificate within 72 hours before departure after obtaining the visa;

5. After entering Japan, inform the health status of the "Immigrant Health Confirmation Center" of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare through MySOS.

Legal basis:

Article 13 of the Passport Law of the People's Republic of China

The passport issuing organ will not issue a passport if the applicant is under any of the following circumstances:

(1) He does not have the nationality of the People's Republic of China;

(2) unable to prove identity;

(3) practicing fraud in the application process;

(4) being sentenced to a criminal sentence and serving a sentence;

(5) the people's court informs that there are unresolved civil cases that cannot leave the country;

(6) being a defendant or criminal suspect in a criminal case;

(7) The relevant authorities in the State Council believe that leaving the country will endanger national security or cause great losses to national interests.
