Upstream of the stream, the valley is narrow and the mountains are steep, and the hanging stones are in the way. According to legend, Lv Dongbin once became an immortal here. Later generations built bridges and buildings here, drilled holes, and named it "Xiangxi Cave". Xiangxi Cave is a Taoist grotto. Tianshuxia Scenic Area

Tianshuxia is located at the southern end of Shaanxi Province, between Baxian Town and Zhengyang Township in the southeast of Pingli County on the northwest slope of Hualong Mountain, one of the main peaks of Daba Mountain. The canyon originates from Hualong Mountain, with a length of 12.8 kilometers and a current development area of about 25 square kilometers. Because the canyon used to be the monastery of the Eight Immortals, eight immortals handed down from ancient times in Bashan collected thousands of rare books in the sky, read all the worldly things in the world, and traveled around the world, making these rare books turn into strange stones and pile them up in the valley. Its rocks are vertically jointed, with thousands of layers superimposed, like layers of wordless gobbledygook on a huge bookshelf, hiding an undecipherable secret, hence the name "Tianshuxia". Tianshu Gorge was originally a unique and naturally closed, relatively primitive uninhabited area. The locals commonly called it "Black Laopa". Because it is very wild, and fierce animals such as tigers, leopards and black bears often appear, no one dares to enter at will. It brings people a new desire.
