Tengchong Dieshui River, the only urban volcano in China, blocks waterfalls.

Dieshui River Scenic Area is a tourist area of Tengyue Cultural Park, a diversified national AA-level tourist attraction integrating natural landscape and human landscape, and the only urban volcanic weir waterfall in China, which is called the "Dragon Cave Curtain" in the 12 scenic spots of Gutengyue.

Wonderful columnar joints are arranged on both sides of the cliff, and the river winds out of the left canyon. The splashing water mist floats over the cliff valley, the water vapor transpires, and the beads splash everywhere, such as drizzle, and the river seems to split in two, so it is commonly known as "overlapping river waterfall", forming a landscape of "scattered flowers without bows".

Waterfall observation deck

The waterfall viewing platform can watch the waterfall as a whole, and the rock wall of the waterfall has regular columnar joints formed after volcanic eruption.

Down the stone steps to the bottom of the valley, you can watch the waterfall at close range and experience the rough waves. The water in Daying River flows down from a hundred-foot cliff, forming a landscape where the Milky Way pours and snowflakes fall. The sound was a sudden thunder of anger.

At about two or three o'clock every afternoon, under the sunshine, seven-color rainbows often appear on the cliff, adding luster to the waterfall.

Taiji bridge

Taiji Bridge is located at the top of the cliff where the waterfall flows down, with huge stones crouching like turtles in different shapes.

Ten steps away from Shuikou, there is a stone bridge lying across the river, named after the Taiji stone in the town under the bridge. The bridge is a cantilever flat stone bridge with three piers and two holes, with a stone cornice pavilion in the middle, which is solid in structure and beautiful in shape.

Taiji Bridge is a memorial building, which can not only provide a safe passage for pedestrians, but also add a landscape to the waterfall. It is very practical and ornamental, and its technology occupies an important position in the history of local architecture.

Longguang Hua Ting

On the west bank of Dieshui River, there is a temple, which stands on the peak and is a magnificent sight. It is called Longguang Terrace, which is located in the middle of three peaks.

In the sixth year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty, Yan Shitai, the magistrate, came here to watch the waterfall and saw the magnificent scenery, so he cut down trees to build a pavilion and named it "Dragon Lantern". In the tenth year of Jiajing, Wu Jin, a county native, described the story of Long Guangting, making it famous from generation to generation. During the Wanli period, Deng Zilong, a patriotic star, expanded it. At that time, famous poets wrote poems endlessly.

The pavilion is built according to the waterfall, and the waterfall is scattered according to the pavilion, and the name is spread everywhere, far and near. From the front of Taiji Bridge, along Zhongfeng, past the power station and to the mountain gate, you can see the wind. On the front of the gate is Li's inscription "Longguang Terrace", which is written in regular script and has a little knowledge.

Fairy tale optimism

Fairy optimism is a Taoist temple created by Lv Chunyang, one of the Eight Immortals, in the eighth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1882).

The couplets in front of the Queen Mother's Temple are newly made by the old Lian, taken from the Eight Immortals crossing the sea, and each word is decomposed into: Zhong Lishi shakes the fan, rides the donkey to Zhaoqiao, uncle holds Yunyang board, Xiangzi Yaochi tastes Yu Di; Dong Bin carried a sword on his back and turned to Li Tihu, gaining high prestige. Immortals offer longevity wine, colored flowers and flat peaches in baskets.
