In which city is Yabuli Town located?

Yabuli is a town in Heilongjiang Province, under Shangzhi City. It is located between Harbin and Mudanjiang. It is under the jurisdiction of Harbin. It is famous for skiing and can be regarded as a tourist town. It is 2-3 hours drive from Harbin.

Yabuli is located about 100 kilometers west of Mudanjiang City. It is an important competition venue for ski jumping, Nordic combined, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and freestyle skiing in my country.

Yabuli’s original name is Yablony, which means apple orchard in Russian. In 1897, when the China-Eastern Railway was being built, the Chinese workers who built the road here lived in temporary greenhouses built on the north side, so this place was still called the North Greenhouse at that time. Tsarist Russian foremen who were building roads here often found patches of apple trees, which bore abundant fruits in autumn, so they named the place "Yabloni" in Russian, transliterated as "Yabuli". This name has been used to this day. During the Anti-Japanese War, the Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Forces and the later novel "Lin Hai Xue Yuan" left many stories and legends here.
