About obtaining the Jiangsu Province Tour Guide Qualification Certificate
1. Application conditions
1. Applicants must be in good health, have strong language skills, have a high school education or above, have not been subject to criminal punishment (except for criminal negligence), and have full capacity for civil conduct. , citizens of this city who can meet the needs of tour guides or citizens from other provinces and cities who hold a temporary residence permit issued by the local public security agency can apply.
2. According to the relevant provisions of Document No. 174 issued by the National Tourism Administration (2008), Chinese citizens who are permanent residents of Hong Kong and Macao who work, study or live in Jiangsu can apply for tour guides in Jiangsu Province Please see the attachment for qualification examination, registration conditions and requirements.
2. Registration Procedure

2011 Jiangsu Province Tour Guide On-site Examination at Nanjing Examination Center Exam Contents and Requirements 1. Adjustment of Content In the 2011 Nanjing Examination Center on-site examination, the explanation of attractions will be in the form of video simulation, that is, Candidates are required to explain the scenic spots based on video footage (candidates speaking small languages ????in cities other than Nanjing are not required to do this this year and will still use the indoor simulation method in previous years). Videos of scenic spots will not be made public before the exam, but the key points and time specifications of each scenic spot in the video will be made public (form attached). The explanation of scenic spots for Chinese candidates takes about 11 minutes, and the explanation of scenic spots for foreign language candidates takes about 11 minutes and 30 seconds. The Nanjing city situation overview is not used as explanation content, but appears in the form of comprehensive knowledge questions and answers. The content of the questions and answers does not exceed the scope of the market situation overview. The content is shown in Appendix 3. The Yuhuatai Memorial Hall has undergone large-scale adjustments this year. Please see Appendix 4 for details of the new hall. 2. Exam content 1. On-site examination content for Chinese candidates includes: welcome speech (no more than 20 seconds), attraction explanation (with video), attraction knowledge questions and answers, as well as tour guide specifications, adaptability, 5A attraction knowledge, comprehensive knowledge and market conditions Overview trivia questions and answers. The test time for Chinese language candidates shall be no less than 20 minutes per person. 2. The content of the on-site examination for foreign language candidates includes: reading and retelling of short foreign language texts (the number of reading materials is between 150 and 200 words), welcome speech (no more than 20 seconds), explanation of scenic spots (with video), Q&A on scenic spots, and tour guides Questions and answers on norms, adaptability, 5A attraction knowledge, comprehensive knowledge and market overview. Foreign language candidates must take the exam and explain everything in the language of the exam. The examination time for foreign language candidates shall be no less than 30 minutes per person. The Q&A questions on attractions and tour guide specifications, adaptability, and 5A attractions Q&A questions are based on the content of the "Jiangsu Province Tour Guides On-site Examination Manual". The comprehensive Q&A questions are mainly based on current political events at home and abroad in the past year and common sense knowledge (you need to prepare by yourself) , please see Appendix 3 for details of the Nanjing City Situation Questions and Answers. 3. Examination attractions and explanation elements 1. Chinese on-site examination attractions (12): Presidential Palace A, Presidential Palace B, Confucius Temple A, Confucius Temple B, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum A, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum B, Linggu Temple A, Linggu Temple B, Yuhuatai A, Yuhuatai B, Nanjing City Wall and Zhonghua Gate Castle, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. On-site test attractions for Japanese language candidates (7): Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Ming Xiaoling Tomb, Linggu Temple, Presidential Palace, Confucius Temple , China Gate, and the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by the Japanese Invaders. 3. On-site test attractions for foreign language candidates other than Japanese (6): Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Ming Xiaoling Tomb, Linggu Temple, Presidential Palace, Confucius Temple, and Zhonghua Gate. For details on the elements of explanation of foreign language attractions, please see the "Nanjing Foreign Language On-site Examination Test Points and Content Summary" (Appendix 2) IV. Scoring Criteria 1. The Chinese on-site examination is divided into three major items: language and manners account for 20%, and explanation of attractions accounts for 50% , comprehensive ability accounts for 30%. 2. The foreign language on-site examination is divided into four major items: language and manners account for 40%, attraction explanations account for 30%, foreign language passage reading and retelling account for 10%, and comprehensive ability accounts for 20%. 5. Examination Requirements Since the explanation of scenic spots needs to be coordinated with the video screen, higher requirements are put forward for the candidates' knowledge capacity and reaction ability. It is recommended that candidates not only go to scenic spots to understand the characteristics and location of the landscape, but also control the content of each knowledge point according to the "On-site Examination Test Points and Content Summary" published by us, and organize the guide words according to time specifications and personal speaking speed.
