Scenic spots at Banla Mountain Gate
Banla Mountain Gate is a famous scenic spot in Jilin Province, located in the southeast suburb of Siping City. Shanmen, in the past, people called it "Banla Shanmen", which was translated into Boolean gallery in Manchu. At that time, there were one official guarding the mountain gate, Su La and one official guarding the mountain gate. "Sula" is Manchu, that is, the border gate official. Pen-and-paste style is a junior official in charge of copywriting. Dozens of flag soldiers guarding the gate are mainly responsible for checking pedestrians.
The Historical Relics of the Three Eastern Provinces records: "The Boer Gallery (transliteration, that is, Banlashan Gate) was the border gate of Fengji, and the defense was strict during the Qing Dynasty. Those who steal more than, be punished with sin. There are two flag-bearers, and 24 overseers are armored, which was abolished in the early years of the Republic of China. " It can be seen that at that time, the flag soldiers were very strict in checking pedestrians. In addition, there is an official tax agency near Banlashan Gate.
by the time of the fall of the northeast, some old buildings were still preserved at Banlashan Gate, keeping their original appearance. The mountain gate has decayed and withered, the roof tiles are overgrown with weeds, and there is a plaque with the words "Boolean Gallery Gate" hanging on the door.
when you enter the mountain gate, you will see an empty and flat training ground, with Guandi Temple and Niangniang Temple on the left. It is impossible to find out when Guandi Temple was built. Although it has been eroded by wind and rain, the five-inch tall figure carved on the top of the temple is still vivid. There is a stone tablet on both sides of the temple gate, engraved with the inscription "All good will return to the same place" and "All kinds of instruments will last forever". Above the purlin, there is a plaque with the inscription "Mid-Autumn Festival in the 14th year of Guangxu". There is an ancient clock in the courtyard, on which are engraved more than 2 words: "The clock cast in Guandi Temple at Banlashan Gate weighs 9 Jin and was made in November of the 28th year of Qianlong". In the center of the nave is a stone statue of Guandi, and there are 14 stone statues of different sizes on both sides.
Behind Guandi Temple is Niangniang Temple, where a pair of porcelain statues of kind-hearted old men and old women are enshrined. Every year, April 18 of the lunar calendar is the busiest time here, and people from dozens of miles around come here to catch the temple fair.
There is a small river near the mountain gate, a Shenxian Cave by the river, a Shenshu Mountain nearby, and the majestic Changjia Mountain a little further away. The scenery here is beautiful, and it was a famous scenic spot when it was Manchukuo. Now the ancient mountain gates are beyond recognition. Those old buildings no longer exist. Instead, new buildings have sprung up. Different styles and modern tourist facilities abound, including hotels for tourists to rest, swimming pools for tourists to swim, and the unique scenery of Banla Mountain Gate, all of which make tourists linger.
