General situation of Danzi town

Danzi Town is located in the northeast of Wansheng District, with a total population of 20,960 and an area of 54.6 square kilometers. Tangjiagou Reservoir, which governs 42 cooperatives in 6 administrative villages and is known as "Wansheng Life Project", is a typical resource-based township. Danzi Town has a good location, with three expressway, namely, Dongguan, Chongqing, Guizhou and Chongqing-Sha, and Shile Highway and Southern Anhui Railway passing through it. It is an important gateway for Wansheng East to go out of southern Chongqing, southeastern Chongqing, northern Guizhou and Hunan, and has now been integrated into Chongqing's eight-hour economic circle. During the 11th Five-Year Plan period, with the construction of expressway and the tourist ring railway in Chongqing, Danzi Town's role as an important window for Wansheng's opening to the outside world and regional cooperation will be further highlighted. Danzi Town is rich in resources, with large reserves and high grade of raw coal, pyrite, fluorite and dolomite, and the forest coverage rate reaches 49.3%. In recent years, according to the development idea of "prospering the town with industry and enriching the people with characteristics", the town has accelerated the overall transformation of resource-based areas, made great efforts to build a supporting platform for the development of "one base" (magnesium industrial base) and "four pillars" (materials, mining, calcium chemical industry and mechanical processing), and formed "one park" (agricultural ecological park) and "three characteristics" (characteristic breeding and characteristic planting).
