Required conditions for applying for a Taiwan Permit:
Mainland residents can apply for a Taiwan Travel Permit separately as needed.
Mainland residents who apply for a Taiwan Travel Permit and an endorsement at the same time, or who hold a valid Taiwan Travel Permit and apply for an endorsement separately, must meet the corresponding conditions based on different reasons:
(1) Group travel: Participation Group travel to Taiwan organized by a travel agency designated by the National Tourism Administration with the qualification to operate tours to Taiwan.
(2) Individual travel: Permanent residents with permanent residence in cities going to Taiwan for personal travel, or non-residents with permanent residence who meet the conditions specified by the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, are open to apply for individual travel to Taiwan.
(3) Visiting relatives: visiting relatives who have settled, lived, worked, or studied in Taiwan for a long time; mainland spouses who have not yet obtained Taiwan resident status go to Taiwan to reunite and reside.
(4) Settlement: Mainland residents who have obtained the qualification to settle in Taiwan with the approval of the Taiwan authorities can apply to settle in Taiwan.
(5) By invitation: With the approval of the Taiwan Affairs Office, go to Taiwan to engage in exchange activities in science and technology, culture, sports, academics, etc., or participate in cross-strait affairs discussions and interviews.
(6) Business: With the approval of the Taiwan Affairs Office, go to Taiwan to conduct business activities such as inspections, meetings, negotiations, contract performance, training, etc., and participate in or visit exhibitions and other economic and trade exchange activities.
(7) Study: High school graduates who have taken this year’s national unified examination for general college admissions in provinces approved by the Ministry of Education to allow mainland students to study in Taiwan, or graduates from Taiwanese supervisors in the above-mentioned provinces that are open to students studying in Taiwan. Fresh undergraduate or master's degree graduates from mainland universities with academic qualifications recognized by the department.
(8) Cabin crew: Perform cross-strait shipping tasks.
(9) Others: Going to Taiwan for medical treatment, visiting friends, handling property, attending funerals, litigation, engaging in fishery labor, etc.
Materials required to apply for a Taiwan pass:
1. Chinese citizen entry and exit document application form

5. Applicants under the age of 16 who do not have a resident identity card must submit their household registration book. The applicant should be accompanied by a guardian to apply for an ordinary passport, and should also submit his or her "Medical Birth Certificate" or notarization of guardianship relationship (if the guardianship relationship can be verified through information sharing, there is no need to provide it), as well as the guardian's resident ID card. 6. Persons with household registration from other provinces who work in our city and are invited to go to Taiwan with the Taiwan Affairs Office's "Approval for Traveling to Taiwan" can apply directly at the Exit-Entry Administration Department of our city's public security bureau.
If residents from other provinces apply for visas in our city to visit relatives, do business, study, etc. in Taiwan, residents from other provinces who are employed or studying in our city must submit proof of social insurance payment for more than one year, issued by the school where they attended. Proof of enrollment in school; spouses and children of residents in other provinces of our city, if their household registration information does not indicate kinship, must provide a legally binding certificate that can prove the kinship. For parental relationships, a written statement issued by their children with local household registration must be submitted; If you do not bring a valid residence permit issued by the city's public security organs when applying, the application unit can check and confirm it, and there is no need to submit the residence permit for verification.
The above situation does not apply to registered state workers and active military personnel.
7. Application materials related to the purpose of application:
(1) Those who travel to Taiwan and apply for "individual travel" or "group travel" endorsements are exempted from submitting documents corresponding to the purpose of application. Certification materials (applicants must apply for a tourist entry permit to Taiwan from the relevant Taiwan authorities); if the leader of a tour group agency for mainland residents who applies for multiple endorsements for group travel to Taiwan, he must submit an official letter issued by the tour group agency for verification before traveling to Taiwan. Children born in the mainland between mainland residents and Taiwan residents who apply to settle in Taiwan and have not registered their household registration in the mainland must also submit their own "Medical Birth Certificate" and the original resident ID card of the mainland resident of both parents.
(4) If you are invited to Taiwan for exchanges with the approval of the Taiwan Affairs Office, and apply for the "invitation" endorsement, you must submit the original "approval document for going to Taiwan" issued by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council or the local Taiwan Affairs Office authorized by it, or by A copy of the stamp and confirmation from the Taiwan Affairs Office of the province, autonomous region, or municipality where the application is accepted.
(5) Those who have been approved by the Taiwan Affairs Office to conduct economic and trade activities in Taiwan and apply for a "business" endorsement must submit the original "Approval for Project Entry to Taiwan" issued by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council or the local Taiwan Affairs Office authorized by it. Or a copy confirmed by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the province, autonomous region or municipality where the application is accepted.
(6) If you want to study in Taiwan and apply for a "study" endorsement, you must submit a study certificate in Taiwan issued by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the districted city in the province open to study in Taiwan.
