A 5-meter-high circular stainless steel regional emblem is placed on the top. The pattern is a capital "C" with the words "YTETDZ" embedded in the middle, which is the English abbreviation of "Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone in China" with the title "Open Pearl Shines, Winning Glory with the Sun". Around the monument, there are six smooth sailing and eight springs surging, which means rushing forward and thriving.
