Wutai Mountain, located in Wutai County, Xinzhou City, is a famous summer resort, surrounded by five peaks, with flat top and beautiful scenery. In addition, it is also the Dojo of Manjusri Bodhisattva, with many temples, ranking first among the four famous Buddhist mountains in China.

2. Yanmenguan

Yanmenguan, located 30 kilometers northwest of Daixian County, Xinzhou, is the pass on the Great Wall Line in Ming Dynasty, and is also called "the outer three passes" with Ning Wuguan and Pianguan. There is no bus from Daixian to the scenic spot, so you can only go by car, and it is entirely on foot to go to the scenic spot.

3. Xinzhou Ancient City

Xinzhou ancient city is located on the way from Taiyuan to Wutai Mountain. It is the resident of Xinzhou administrative office and prefectural party committee. Xinzhou belonged to Jin State in the Spring and Autumn Period, Zhao in the Warring States Period, Taiyuan County, Yanmen County and Taiping County in the Qin and Han Dynasties.

Wu Ye Temple, also known as the Dragon King Temple, is located in Wanfoge, Taihuai Town, Wutai Mountain (about 100 meters south of Luo Qi Temple). Founded in the Ming Dynasty, Wanfo Pavilion consists of three main buildings: Manjusri Hall, Wulong King Hall and ancient stage. Among the numerous temples in Wutai Mountain, Wu Ye Temple, though small, is one of the famous temples in Wutai Mountain.

5. Luya Mountain

Luya Mountain Scenic Area, known as "Five Hundred Miles of Wonderful Luya Mountain", is the source area of five rivers such as Fenhe River and Sanggan River. It consists of Wannian Ice Cave, Luya Mountain, Cliff Ancient Plank Road, Shimen Hanging Coffin, Alpine Meadow, Lover Valley, Ningwu Tianchi, Fenhe Source, Diaozhuang and other scenic spots. Different from the world-famous and crowded Wutai Mountain, Luya Mountain has few tourists and is a rare elegant and exquisite tourist destination in Shanxi.

6. Wannian Ice Cave

Wannian Ice Cave was formed in the Cenozoic Quaternary Glacier Period, about 3 million years ago, hence the name Wannian Ice Cave. This ice cave is one of only nine caves in China. The cave has strong refrigeration mechanism and large ice reserves, and it has been developed for nearly 100 meters.
