The law of sustainable development of tourism
Definition:
The sustainable development of tourism refers to meeting people's economic, social and aesthetic requirements while maintaining cultural integrity and ecological environment. It can provide a livelihood for today's hosts and guests, protect and enhance the interests of future generations, and provide them with the same opportunities.
1990 At the Global Conference on Sustainable Development (Globe'90) held in Vancouver, Canada, five indicators for the sustainable development of tourism were put forward:
(1) Enhance people's understanding of the environmental and economic effects of tourism and strengthen their ecological awareness;
(2) Promoting the fair development of tourism;
(3) Improve the quality of life in tourist reception areas;
(four) to provide tourists with high-quality tourism experience;
(5) Protect the environmental quality on which the future tourism development depends.
Core goal: The core goal of the sustainable development of tourism is to improve the living standards of local residents while providing tourists with a high-quality tourism environment, and to maintain and enhance the future development opportunities of the environment, society and economy during the development process. The sustainable development of tourism should benefit tourists, local people, future tourists and future local residents, which involves the fairness among different interest groups in the same generation, between different interest groups in the same generation and between different interest groups.
As a production factor in tourism economic activities, tourism resources must be aware of their finiteness and fragility. Natural tourism resources, whether it is the ingenious creation of nature or the semi-natural landscape containing human labor and wisdom, are no longer resources that can be freely used for free, and their utilization must take into account their regenerative ability. Humanistic tourism resources are monopolistic and unrepeatable, and we should also adopt the consumption mode of "only taking benefits and not moving the capital" to ensure that the inheritance and utilization of these historical and cultural heritages will not be violated by future generations. This kind of unreasonable development and utilization of cultural tourism resources will bring endless costs and will definitely be a negative benefit forever. Therefore, when developing non-renewable historical and cultural resources, we must adhere to the principle of "protection first"
