Then, the tour guide sister took us to visit many palaces, including Taihe Palace, Zhonghe Palace, Qianqing Palace, Jiaotai Palace, Kunlin Palace, etc. Among them, my favorite is the Hall of Supreme Harmony. It was the place where the emperor went to court and approved memorials. It was also called the outer court. There are countless treasures in the Hall of Supreme Harmony. During its construction, most of the wood used in the Ming Dynasty was collected from Sichuan, Guang, Yun, Guizhou and other places. The Hall of Supreme Harmony is also the largest palace in the Forbidden City. It is 5.05 meters high, covers an area of ??2377 square meters, and has 72 pillars. Not only is the space inside the Hall of Supreme Harmony large, but the utensils inside are also very exquisite and practical. What I particularly like is the dragon chair where the emperor sits. Although it is a bit old now, it still has the same dazzling light as before.

This trip to the Forbidden City in Beijing not only made me feel the prosperity of the palace in ancient times, but also made me realize that although the palace lived a luxurious life, there were also iron rules. Once violated, The consequences are quite serious. Next time I have the opportunity to come to Beijing, I will definitely learn more about the history and stories of the Forbidden City.
