Hong Kong transit visa-free policy

1. According to the regulations of the Hong Kong Immigration Department, holders of China passports, third-country visas and joint tickets can stay in Hong Kong for no more than seven days without a visa, and there is no need to apply for a travel permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao and a Hong Kong endorsement. If the visa country is landing visa or visa-free, the hotel confirmation form is also recognized.

According to your itinerary, when you enter Hong Kong, please provide your China passport, Singaporean visa and joint flight ticket confirmation form for inspection. You can stay in Xi or Shenzhen for no more than 7 days.

2. According to the official data provided by the Hong Kong Immigration Department in March 20 19, there are 165 visa-free countries and regions in Hong Kong. But this official data does not include countries or regions that are not recognized by People's Republic of China (PRC) (such as Kosovo). From the perspective of pure travelers, Hong Kong passports can actually enter more independent jurisdictions.

3. Countries that exempt ordinary passports and visas from each other (15):

United Arab Emirates, Barbados, Bahamas, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ecuador, Fiji, Grenada, Mauritius, San Marino, Seychelles, Serbia, Tonga, Qatar, Belarus, Armenia.

5. HKSAR passport visa-free scheme:

Due to mutual visa exemption agreements (such as with Russia) and unilateral visa exemption, HKSAR passport holders can be exempted from passport visas or travel to many countries and regions around the world through simplified passport procedures.

Although visa-free passports are mostly only applicable to China citizens' visits or short-term personal or business trips, some countries have extended the visa-free scope to short-term paid residence (such as Belgium and Luxemburg).

When arriving in these visa-free or visa-reciprocal countries and regions, whether to allow passengers to enter the country and the duration of their stay are generally decided by the officials of the entry-exit authorities of the countries or regions concerned according to their personal circumstances at that time.
