About your visa

Foreigners traveling to Spain are required to hold a visa, unless they are those who must hold a visa to enter the Schengen country and 6 months from the date of entry into the Schengen country Citizens of countries other than those listed in the country cannot stay more than 3 months (90 days) in a month (180 days).

All visa applications for Beijing and Shanghai consular districts must be submitted in person at this visa application center.

For visa applications in the Guangzhou consular district, applicants can submit application materials in person or by entrusting a third party to the Visa Application Center (the entrusted person must be the applicant traveling to Spain together). Please print and fill out the authorization letter correctly and submit it and a copy of the authorized person's ID card to the application window of the visa center.

Applications may be submitted no more than 90 days before the scheduled travel date. It is recommended to submit the application no less than 15 working days before the scheduled travel date.

The Consulate reserves the right to subsequently request a personal interview with the applicant. Likewise, if necessary, the consulate reserves the right to request the submission of additional information that is not included in the material review list.

Submission of all required application information does not ensure automatic issuance of a visa. Visa refusal will be notified in writing. Applicants can appeal against visa refusal.

Travel medical insurance required

Visitors to Spain or other Schengen countries must Apply for travel medical insurance. You can provide an insurance policy issued by an insurance company in Europe or China. The insurance amount of the policy is at least 30,000 euros or equivalent value in RMB, and must include medical care, hospitalization, and repatriation due to injury or medical reasons. This medical insurance must be valid for all Schengen countries and cover the entire visit.
