The important shooting location of Nianhu Lake is the dam of the reservoir, and it is also the feeding place of the surrounding black-necked cranes. Black-necked cranes mainly feed in wetlands along the Li Jiawan Dam. When the water level in the reservoir is low, it is best to photograph many black-necked cranes fishing and catching shrimps in the wetlands around Li Jiawan. And before the sun rises in the morning, a large number of black-necked cranes sleep in the wetland east of the reservoir dam. When the sun rises, they will fly to the surrounding wetlands in droves to find food. In addition, the starry night in Nian Lake is also a good place to shoot the star orbit.

Photography season and time

The best shooting season for Lake Nian is from the beginning of February to the end of February next year. At this time, flocks of black-necked cranes fly to spend the winter, and the sunrise in Nian Lake is also the most beautiful time of the season.
