The mountain behind Tiger Hill has dense vegetation and rich forests, forming a pleasant green island microclimate and becoming a paradise for birds to compete for habitat. Every autumn, thousands of herons hover around the tower, which is spectacular and becomes a must.

The ancient temple in the mountains. Most of the temples in China are in deep mountains and forests, but Tiger Hill is unique. The ancients described the jungle scenery of Tiger Hill with the poem "The tower rises out of the forest and the mountain hides in the temple". Tiger hills, mountains and temples are integrated into one, and the scenic spots are splendid. Enter the mountain gate and climb the stairs. There are scenic spots such as "Cold Spring", "Sword Test Stone", "Pillow Stone" and "Zhenniang Temple" on both sides of the mountain road.

Hanhan Spring is a well. Legend has it that there is a young monk in Huqiu Temple. He is honest and upright. Every day, he has to carry water at the foot of the mountain. It's difficult, but he never complains. After years of hard work, he touched the gods and gave him a clear spring. One day, the young monk was very tired when he was carrying water up the mountain. He lay down and rested on a smooth stone halfway up the mountain. In the dim light, he heard the gurgling water under the stone. He dug a stone and a well, and sure enough, he got a spring. It is much easier to carry water up the mountain from the spring. The young monk is honest, hardworking and not slick. For those who don't care, Wu calls them "Han". This spring was carved by this very foolish young monk, hence the name "Hanhan Spring".

The sword test stone is an oval boulder with a deep and neat crack in the middle of the stone surface. Legend has it that it was chopped by Mo Xie, an expert in sword casting in the Spring and Autumn Period. Ganjiang and Mo Xie are famous smelters in ancient China, especially good at casting swords. According to legend, the swords they cast can fly out by themselves to kill the enemy. Now there is Ganjiang Road in Suzhou, which is named in memory of them. There is also a general's workshop, which is said to be the workshop where the general cast swords. Whether the general's sword can fly is only a legend, but it is proved that his sword is very sharp. At present, a Wu Wang sword unearthed in recent years is on display in Suzhou Museum. It was written by a senior general and buried underground for more than 2000 years. It is as cold and sharp as ever.

Connected to the mountain road is a rock that can hold thousands of people. The stone surface is as smooth as a knife, slightly inclined to the northeast, and the color is flesh red. Legend has it that after Fuxi buried his father, he drove thousands of craftsmen to this stone and all of them were killed. The blood of craftsmen dyed the stone red, so that it is still flesh red until now. This stone is called "Thousand-Man Stone". The rocks in Huqiu Mountain are actually igneous rocks, mainly composed of flesh-red minerals. Focha's murder is a postscript. According to legend, during the Jin Dynasty, a monk gave birth to a male monk, who often lectured here. More than 1000 people sat quietly on this stone. Gong Sheng spoke clearly and thoroughly, which impressed every audience. Even the stones in the lotus pond beside the thousand stones nodded in agreement. "To tell the truth, the stone nodded" refers to this matter.

On the cliff in the east, there is a cave called Goujian Cave. According to historical records, Fu Cha, the King of Wu, was defeated by the King of Yue, and Gou Jian, the King of Yue, was taken hostage and held in the State of Wu. The Prince of Wu ordered a stone cave to be dug next to He Lv's tomb, so that Gou Jian and his wife could live in it, and let Gou Jian raise horses for the Prince of Wu and clean the courtyard. This cave was later called "Goujian Cave".

The four characters "Tiger Hill and Sword Pool" are engraved on the stone wall on the northern edge of the Thousand People Stone, which is vigorous and powerful. It is said that it was written by Yan Zhenqing, a famous calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty. Some people say that the word "Tiger Hill" is not original, but added by later generations, so Suzhou people have the saying that "the sword pool is true and the tiger hill is false". On the right of these four words is the famous sword pool. "According to legend, He Lv loves his sword. After his death, Fu Cha buried more than 3,000 treasure knives in his life, including "Fish Intestine" and "Zhuanzhu". Later, it is said that Qin Shihuang, Sun Quan and others all sent people to Tiger Hill to dig stones and make swords, but they found nothing, but a deep pool was formed at the place where the stones were dug, so it was called "sword pool". The sword pool is rectangular with rocks on both sides. There are clear springs in the pool, which are inexhaustible. Predecessors said that the sword pool is connected with the East China Sea. In fact, the sword pool is only more than 6 meters deep. 1955 when dredging, it was drained. After excavation, it was found that there was a stone crack at the northern end of the bottom of the pool, which was sharp at the top and wide at the bottom, and one person could pass through it. The cave wall is a whole rock, with a spacious depth, and how high one person is, three people can pass side by side. At the end of the cave, there is a stone wall made of three artificially processed boulders, which blocks the way. This stone wall may be the entrance to Helu's tomb. According to records, the tomb of He Lu is a "triple bronze camphor, with mercury as the pool and gold and jade as the ghost track". In order to build a gloomy tomb, it took three years to recruit 10000 migrant workers. According to the direction of the tomb door, the tomb may be under the tiger hill. In order to protect this ancient pagoda in Gannian, although the tomb door was explored, it was not excavated.

The scenery around the sword pool is quiet and cold. The steep rocks beside the pool are as high as ten meters, and the vines hang obliquely. The sky is a line between square inches, and the rocks are absolutely dry. The peaks of two cliffs, the flying frame of a bridge, the flagstone paving the bridge, and two wells. When people are on the bridge, they can scrape the water in the pool with a shovel. China's idiom: "Fifteen buckets of water, seven ups and eight downs" was refined here.
