Guilin City is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; it is located in the southwest of the Nanling Mountains, northeastern Guangxi, and the southern end of the Hunan-Guangxi Corridor. It is bounded by east longitude 109°36′ to 111°29′ and north latitude 24°15′ to 26°23′.
