Brief introduction of Fuxi cultural festival

Fuxi Culture Festival is an annual large-scale traditional folk festival in China, which is dedicated to Fuxi in Tianshui City, Gansu Province. Tianshui Fuxi Cultural Tourism Festival is sponsored by the Municipal People's Government to pay tribute to Fuxi ceremony, the ancestor of Chinese culture, and Tianshui Fuxi Cultural Tourism Festival in China. Since 2005, the People's Government of Gansu Province has held a ceremony to pay homage to Fuxi, the ancestor of Chinese humanities, every year, which has been successfully held for 20 times.

After more than 20 years' efforts, Tianshui Fuxi Cultural Tourism Festival has developed into one of the "Top Ten Festivals with the Most Development Potential in China", and Fuxi Grand Ceremony, a public sacrifice, has been listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection lists, becoming one of the unique and important cultural brands in Gansu Province.

The annual sacrificial activities have become a grand festival in Tianshui people's life. At dawn, Tianshui city is full of music, crowds and festivals. At 8 o'clock sharp, the China folk art performance team dressed in red and green set out from the Tianshui municipal government compound in the east of the city and slowly marched to Fuxi Temple in the west of the city.

Tianshui is the birthplace of Qin people. The Qin Cheng Clapboard Drum Team, dressed in black, black trousers and white belt, is solemn and simple, and it really shows an ancient charm of Qin Feng.
