The main reason why the first type of friends pity me is "Is the food very difficult there?"

The food of the local Africans is indeed not very good. Their staple food is called Sasa is a batter made from flour mixed with water, which is very unpalatable.

But wherever there are Chinese people, there will be Chinese restaurants, not to mention the chef of the only Chinese restaurant in Waterfall City, who is my favorite Sister Yu!

In addition, in Waterfall City, I also met Sue, a Korean eldest sister who works as a tourist. She often invited me to her house to eat Korean barbecue, served with spicy cabbage and chili sauce, and I almost went home with her. Same.

What to eat when traveling with a group? Usually the itinerary will include a "Feast of the Beasts", which is my least favorite meal in Africa. In short, it means grilling all kinds of game, from antelope to warthog, everything is grilled and tastes terrible.

Except for this famous but unpalatable feast of beasts, we usually eat the hotel buffet with the guests, which is very luxurious! Most of the guests who can travel to Africa have good financial status, and naturally the corresponding meal standards will not be low. From the luxurious dinner at the five-star Waterfall Hotel to the high-end buffet at the King’s Hotel, it’s already difficult not to eat fat, so how can you still lose weight?

As for what I like to eat the most? I like to go to KFC and order a wing bucket the day after I leave a group and eat it all day...

The second type of friends pity me because they think Africa must be extremely hot.

The country I went to is called Zimbabwe, an African country in southern Africa next to South Africa. It is south of the equator, so it is actually out of season with us. Summer here is winter over there.

Winter in Africa is not very cold, because there is enough sunshine, and it can reach more than 30 degrees during the day. However, because it is dry and rainless, and it is a landlocked country, it is not hot and humid at all, it is dry and dry. The weather!

June to August is the time when Beijing is in ambush. While my poor friends were squeezing the subway on sauna days, I was standing in line for fried chicken in dry Africa.

There is also a group of friends who feel sorry for me, because as a tour guide, no matter how beautiful the scenery is, it is all the same, and I will definitely get bored after seeing too much.

They underestimated my ability to entertain myself.

There are two main attractions in Waterfall City, one is Victoria Falls and the other is Zambezi River Cruise.

When guests come here, it would be a pity if they don’t experience the waterfall up close or watch the sunset on a cruise ship.

In the beginning, I would post waterfalls and sunsets in the circle of friends, but I would watch them almost every few days, and gradually I became a little numb.

But then I discovered some interesting things.

For example, smoking is allowed in the Victoria Falls scenic area, known as the "National Park";

Africa is a very magical place. Although the material conditions are no longer so favorable, people's pursuit of happiness seems to have also decreased. Just a few simple words can make someone happy for a long time.

Finally, there is a group of friends who pity me because the local area is full of black people and it is difficult to find a partner.

Although after staying in Africa for a long time, you will think that black people are also quite good-looking, but because of the overall high AIDS rate in Africa, it is better to be careful.

If a friend mentioned this during a chat, I would be really sad, and then I would never want to be friends with him again.

In general, Africa is a magical land and a fascinating fertile land. There are many hard-working Chinese people working here, and there are also many enthusiastic locals welcoming guests from afar. There are no diseases as imagined, nor wars and riots as in old concepts. The people here are lovely and friendly, the scenery is picturesque all year round, and the climate is mild and pleasant.
