Why do you need to approve B&B's business qualification?

The location of rural homestays should meet the requirements of the overall planning of the city, county and autonomous county where they are located, and make use of existing houses for reconstruction and expansion as much as possible. In order to build a new rural homestay, every one must be reported, and construction is not allowed without approval. It is strictly forbidden to develop real estate in disguise in the name of setting up village houses.

2. Scale requirements

The scale of rural homestays shall be implemented according to Basic Requirements and Evaluation of Tourist Homes (LB/T 065-20 19). Using idle resources such as local houses, the business premises shall not exceed 4 floors and the construction area shall not exceed 800㎡. Accommodation service business premises exceeding the aforementioned scale shall be applied in accordance with relevant laws and regulations of the hotel industry.

3. Fire safety

The fire safety requirements of homestays located in villages and towns and tourist homestays rebuilt by villagers' own houses comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Ministry of Public Security.

Implement the Notice of the National Tourism Administration on Printing and Distributing the Fire Prevention Guide for Farmhouses (B&Bs) (Jiancun [2017] No.50). The fire safety of tourist homestays transformed from other civil buildings other than residential buildings shall strictly comply with the requirements of fire laws and regulations and national technical standards for fire protection in engineering construction.
