To reach the glacier, you must first go to Midui Village at the foot of the mountain. The ticket office is 6.5 kilometers away from Midui Village, and the road conditions are not very good. Continue southbound for 2.5 kilometers from Midui Village to the glacier observation deck. When you come to this place where Midui Village is located, you can see a large-scale landscape where glaciers, lakes, farmland, villages and forests meet. Because of the long distance, group tours from Lhasa or Linzhi rarely go to the Midui Glacier. If you want to see the magnificent scenery of the glacier, you can go to bomi county first and then charter a car.
