Many friends may not know much about Xiongan, Nanyang, and some of them have never even heard of it. This is Malaysia, so what is the best way to visit this place? Let’s follow the editor to see Take a look. Nanyang Xiongan Travel Notes
I have long heard that in order to alleviate the congestion in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has moved the entire government administrative center to the suburbs. Beginning in 1993, Malaysia began the construction of its new capital, Putrajaya, under the initiative of former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, which is the Putrajaya I plan to visit today. Putrajaya is located between the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and the city center of Kuala Lumpur. This land was once an abandoned tin mine and the surrounding lakes. Today it has become a modern new city created by filling the lake, just like Shanghai's Lingang New City. The high-speed train ride from the city takes less than 20 minutes, with buses running every half hour. Sure enough, in an instant, I had arrived in Putrajaya. On the way to transfer to the local bus to the administrative center, what flashed outside the window was not only brand-new buildings with great sense of design, but also greenery and lakes everywhere.
As soon as the car stopped, it was surrounded by an extremely grand square called Independence Square. Compared with Merdeka Square in the center of Kuala Lumpur, this square is not only larger, but also more modern. Looking around the square, facing the lake on three sides, there is a huge mosque on the left. The pink main body of the building has a dome and a unique minaret of the mosque. It turns out that this is the famous floating mosque. On the right is the majestic Prime Minister's Office. Two buildings, one red and one green, with a strong Islamic style give people a strong visual impact.
At this time, many tour groups had arrived by bus, and people began to flow towards the mosque. I followed the flow of people to visit the mosque. I had to queue up at the door to receive a red robe, because Islamic churches do not allow tourists with exposed arms and legs to enter. Women need to wear a cloak instead of a headscarf, and everyone must enter barefoot.
The elegant pink exterior wall, the towering central dome, and the marble lights all over the floor illuminate people. The pink dome is decorated with white patterns that shine in the sunlight. The entire building is extremely exquisite and is a meticulously cultivated art palace. Three-quarters of the entire mosque is built on the water, so it has the reputation of a floating mosque. Interestingly, Islam regards green as a sacred color. The carpets used by Muslims for worship are usually green, and pink mosques are rare. Most tourists who come here to take photos and leave cannot appreciate the beauty of this floating mosque. They can only walk around the perimeter and see the scenery at every step. It is definitely the most beautiful pearl in the entire new city.
The chapel in the middle is huge. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to visit inside. You can only walk around the main hall and enjoy it slowly. According to reports, the mosque is divided into two floors. The chapel on the ground floor is only for men and can accommodate 8,000 people. The chapel on the second floor is only for women and can accommodate 4,000 people praying at the same time. You can imagine the spectacular scene of more than 10,000 people praying at the same time. It is a pity that this There was no one around, only the tourists coming and going watching the fun.
It is said that the red tone of this mosque is to commemorate Zheng He who made seven voyages to the West (actually to Southeast Asia). Some people insist that the Islam here also originated from Zheng He. My personal judgment is completely based on rumors. Although Zheng He was a true Islamist, not only did he not match the time, but he represented China to win over the Southeast Asian countries to pay tribute to the Ming Dynasty. How could he do business privately?
It corresponds to a mosque at a distance. The building above is the Prime Minister's Office standing on the hill on the right, but the tone is traditional Islamic green. It is now the administrative agency of the Malaysian government and the Prime Minister's office. Two days ago, Alibaba Chairman Jack Ma paid a visit to the 93-year-old new Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad here. The media said that Lao Ma and Xiao Ma had a very happy conversation. The high-speed rail project that Mahathir had previously said he would break the contract with was also in the two countries. There was a loosening of control after the talks, and the media of the two countries, which were almost at war with each other, suddenly changed their tone. Many jokes about Jack Ma's lack of diplomacy began to spread widely on the Chinese Internet. At this time, I heard Chinese tourists around me loudly laughing at the big green dome of the Prime Minister's Office, saying that it was a big green hat. It was really wanton and disrespectful. God bless you! In other people's land, at least you must respect it. The cultural traditions of other people’s families are not far away from the collective condemnation of the Islamic world when American soldiers littered the Koran. Chinese tourists should respect themselves.
I was on a high slope next to the Prime Minister's Office, where I could overlook the rows of majestic buildings in the green shade in the distance. I checked Google Maps and decided to look at all the important buildings. Anyway, I had plenty of time, so I walked along the jogging path along the road. Passing by buildings with unique and avant-garde designs, street lamps of different shapes on the roadside, and endless tropical plants, the whole new town is like a big garden. Pleasant environment, fresh air, I breathed the smog-free air, walking alone in the empty Putcheng Yuyu.
