What do I need to prepare to go to Phuket, Thailand?
Prepare before departure 1. Passport/visa/money: don't bother with your passport (don't lose it anywhere). Visa, two weeks of preparation time is too late for Taobao, so we are in landing visa, 500 RMB per person. The visa on arrival is two or three hundred yuan more expensive than Taobao, and we have to get off the plane and queue up (our plane landed in the early hours of the local morning, and the queue time is not much). So if there is enough time, it is more appropriate to do it in China.
Visa on arrival needs to be prepared: 2-inch photos (one person can take photos when getting off the plane, 40 yuan), personal information, round-trip air ticket voucher, hotel check-in voucher (the hotel reservation platform will have an entrance to download and print it yourself), and the above suggestions are prepared in advance before departure, including the contents to be written (if you can't find the template of visa on arrival form online, you can send it to me in person if necessary). It is also necessary to prepare 20,000 baht or 4,000 RMB (this may be a spot check, which is unlikely). You can change money anywhere. Try not to withdraw money in Thailand. You can eat curry crab for the handling fee of withdrawing money back and forth! Where Alipay can be used, of course, Alipay should be used ~ ~
2. Insurance: You must buy insurance when you come out to play! ! I don't sell insurance. Buy a complete trip with an inexpensive meal. I recommend buying insurance on Alipay. Conscience products of some insurance companies are clear here (Figure 9), and can be purchased according to various needs. It really fits. I also bought other things that need insurance in my life here. This is a little life experience to share with you ~ If you have any questions about this, you can ask me separately ~
3. Air ticket: The air ticket was booked on Ctrip. Flying pigs are also acceptable. Be sure to look at the baggage allowance! In fact, most of us will choose low-cost airlines, so we must pay attention to the amount of luggage. If it is exceeded, we have two solutions: one is not to buy low-cost airlines, and the other is to buy baggage allowance in official website in advance.
4. Hotel: We also booked the hotel on Ctrip. There are many people traveling on New Year's Day, so we booked it late. Many are fully booked, and the price is twice as high as usual. Recommend several websites to choose hotels: booking (with real evaluation and rating) and agoda (similar to booking). If you are a novice freelancer, I don't recommend airbnb. Since the hotel is in Thailand, of course, it should have a swimming pool, a rooftop and floor-to-ceiling windows, because! You can take good-looking photos haha ~ service is also very important. When I come to Thailand this time, I feel that the hotel service is very good and warm ~ The most important thing is that the transportation must be convenient. Try to choose a hotel close to the place to play, the more expensive the better. When you arrive in Thailand, you will know that the traffic there is really not cheap! One more thing, hotels in Thailand usually check out at 12 and check in at 2 pm. Therefore, when choosing a hotel, we should also pay attention to whether the hotel can store luggage.
5. Pick-up and drop-off: It is very important to book the pick-up and drop-off in advance. I am in the middle of the waves and flowers on the flying pig. Very convenient. When you get off the plane, you will see your name on it. Just follow the list to find a contact. I will also contact you on WeChat. Remember to fasten your seat belt when you get on the bus. Don't eat in the car, or you will be fined.
6. Necessary apps and communications: poor travel app, hornet's nest app, flying pig app, happy card (full flow), taxi software grab, uber (all registered in China, otherwise there is no way to use it).
7. Articles: sun protection, slippers, bath products (actually, I suggest you buy these things locally, throw them away after use, and don't take up the box. 7- 1 1 It's really everywhere here), swimsuits, waterproof bags for mobile phones, and motion sickness medicine (although there are many pharmacies here, it's better to prepare them in advance in China). I think these are necessities for the time being.
Prepare air tickets for work: first determine the travel time and buy air tickets in advance. As long as it is not a holiday, air tickets will be much cheaper.
Visa: Visa fees will be charged from September. You can go to landing visa, but it is recommended to go to Taobao 1 0 months in advance to avoid unnecessary troubles. By the way, buy a good phone card online for 7 days ~
Hotel: The hotel is booked in advance. You must click Cancel on the first day of the hotel to avoid unnecessary losses caused by missing the flight.
Pick-up and drop-off: As Phuket Airport is a distance from Patong, it takes 1 hour to drive. Book the pick-up company on Taobao in advance and ask how to identify each other.
Sailing plan: If there is such an arrangement, please book the relevant sailing routes and ships on Taobao in advance. The two biggest service providers are lazy cat and wave flower, and there are many routes and ship types to choose from. Because I don't want to be too tired, I choose Dahuangdi Island not far from the main island. Because the diving resort in Similan Island was closed, we went to the little emperor island with a good environment but far away. We set off at 7: 00 a.m. and returned to the dock at 5: 00 p.m. to see the Great Emperor Island. The sea of Little Emperor Island can be clearly seen at a distance of 10 meter! I'm excited about wood ~
Currency exchange: make an appointment with the local bank in advance to exchange Thai baht. Generally, two people can exchange 6,000 RMB, and 30,000 baht is enough. The exchange rate is 1:5. Although there are some at the airport, I like to do things in advance and have fun ~
Buy travel goods: gastrointestinal medicine (please bring it for people with bad stomach) and knock on the blackboard! Sunscreen, sunscreen spray and aloe vera gel must be carried with you! Sunscreen is just for sun protection, not sunburn. ) I make up for it every 30 minutes on average when I go out to sea, but I am still sunburned like this. The aloe vera gel was thick and it was much better the next day. Travel comes at a price, and blackening is very casual ~
After the above preparations are completed, please print out the scheduled round-trip air ticket, detailed hotel list and entry-exit filling template (available online) and take one with you to avoid increasing communication costs due to language problems.
Visa before departure: app Panda Visa is recommended, which is convenient and quick. Please apply for a visa in advance! ?
Because the visa in Thailand is relatively easy to handle, it can be successfully processed in about two weeks, but it should be processed as soon as possible. The direct flight to Phuket is to landing visa. Flying pigs can find a travel agency. I don't want to introduce visa materials here. If you want to see the details, you can also go to my diary in Seoul, South Korea, where there is a detailed and comprehensive introduction ~)
Air ticket hotel: it will be cheaper in advance ~ especially on holidays! Remember to book a round-trip ticket, it's cheaper ~ and AirAsia's ticket is cheaper than other airlines ~
PS: If the flight is too late or too early, you must book the pick-up in advance. Ctrip and Tuniu can both be booked ~
Almost all hotels in Phuket have swimming pools. Recommend a software, Agoda official website, and an APP, which contains many high-quality foreign characteristic hotel. Booking a hotel in official website is much cheaper than Ctrip Tuniu, because this website is the price of a hotel in official website, and you can use it to Japan, South Korea and other countries without increasing the price.
Ps: Thailand is a tipping country. Remember to leave a tip of 20- 100 baht in your room when you leave the hotel every morning and give it to the cleaning attendant.
Mobile WIFi: Taobao rents in advance (at least one day in advance), which is half cheaper than renting at the airport that day (individuals like to rent mobile WiFi, which can be used by many people). Just open the international roaming call (free of charge) in advance, so that even if you are abroad for seven or eight days, your mobile phone will still answer the call without being affected (it seems to be similar to domestic calls).
WIFI card: unlimited traffic every day, you can make phone calls, and you need to change your mobile phone card. It doesn't matter if you bring two mobile phones.
Exchange money: go to the bank to make an appointment for Thai baht in advance. If you want to go to the island directly, it is more convenient to bring some Thai baht (you can change it anywhere on the streets of Thailand).
Software: Google (travel essentials, navigation, finding food and accommodation, travel routes)
snatch
Taxi: Taxi software is equivalent to Didi taxi (you need to go out, and it is more convenient to take a taxi in Phuket). There are also many cars on the roadside, which can be seen everywhere. Remember to bargain for roadside cars, or you will be killed!
Translation software (travel communication is essential, but many Thais know a little Chinese)
Hornet's nest: book tickets at any time, go to sea, adult show, sea project, Thai SPA.
Luggage: clothes (with sweater or coat, the temperature difference is great, and the indoor air conditioner is extremely cold), sun protection, sunglasses, waterproof bag, hat, swimsuit ~ it's up to you.
Seasickness medicine: (Thai drivers are fierce and speedboats drive fast. Sometimes you have to take seasickness medicine for a day at sea, otherwise you will faint all day)
Gastroenterology: (Eating seafood during the day, acclimatization and various water sports often lead to gastrointestinal discomfort such as diarrhea)
About tipping: Thailand is a tipping country! ! And the salary is relatively low. Out of respect for drivers, flight attendants and service personnel, it is best to give some small fees of about 20 baht (5 RMB is enough).
Entry and exit cards: flight attendants will issue them on the plane, and they can also be picked up at the airport after landing. Just write it in Chinese template.
Entry formalities: Thais are slow, which is their habit. Be careful not to rush them when you go through the formalities, because the more you rush, the slower you will be. Just slow down and enjoy your holiday in Thailand.
