Yangshan Ancient Town International Military Tourism Resort is located in the old revolutionary base area in southwest Shandong, Yangshan Town in the northwest of Jinxiang County, Shandong Province, which is the famous hometown of garlic and the hometown of honesty and longevity. The resort, formerly known as Yangshan Martyrs Cemetery, was built in Yangshanji, a battle site in southwest Shandong. 1947,-led the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan field army to break through the natural barrier of the Yellow River in one fell swoop, advanced into southwestern Shandong, and launched the famous battle of southwestern Shandong, of which the most crucial and tragic battle was Yangshan. The victory of the southwest Shandong campaign opened the way for the People's Liberation Army to advance into the Central Plains, leap into the Dabie Mountains, and lead the war to the Kuomintang-controlled areas, which opened the prelude for the China People's Liberation Army to turn from strategic defense to strategic attack, thus starting a great turning point in China's people's liberation war and creating favorable conditions for winning national victory. 1952, in order to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs who died heroically in the battle of southwest Shandong, Jinxiang County Party Committee and county government built Yangshan Martyrs Cemetery here. 1997, with the approval of the superior, Yangshan Martyrs Cemetery was renamed the Southwest Shandong Campaign Memorial Hall. On this basis, in 2009, the Jinxiang County Party Committee and the county government fully integrated and utilized Yangshan's rich natural resources, profound historical culture and major revolutionary historical themes to build Yangshan Ancient Town International Military Tourism Resort according to the overall planning of Jining's "Eleventh Five-Year" tourism development and Jinxiang County's tourism development and construction.

Yangshan Ancient Town International Military Tourism Resort, which is newly planned and constructed, takes Shanshui Ancient Town as the landscape base, takes military tourism and cultural experience of the ancient town as the theme, and is supplemented by pastoral sightseeing, cultural display, sports development and other activities. It is a military tourist resort that meets the needs of the public to experience sightseeing and middle and high-end group leisure. The overall planning area is 15 square kilometer, with an estimated total investment of 2.24 billion yuan, which will be built in three phases. It mainly plans to build six functional areas, namely theme cultural memorial area, ancient town cultural experience area, campaign simulation area, outdoor sports area, geological park area and agricultural ecological leisure area, and five main tourist routes, namely, war military, theme culture, ancient town folk customs, sports development and rural leisure. Eventually, it will be built into an international military theme tourist resort, a national red tourist destination, an ancient town culture and unique geological and geomorphological experience area in Sulu, Henan and Anhui, a regional customs and local cultural experience area in southwest Shandong, and a high-end leisure residential area in Jinxiang and surrounding areas in Jining.

(1) Theme Cultural Memorial Area: Located in the middle of the scenic spot, with an area of about 0.62 square kilometers, it was developed and built on the basis of the former Yangshan Martyrs Cemetery. Relying mainly on the rich red tourism resources in this area, we will explore and display military culture, Buddhist culture and Han culture, focus on the construction of Southwest Shandong Campaign Memorial Hall, Jinxiang Military Culture Center, Wang Jie Memorial Hall, Weapons Garden and Chongde Temple, and vigorously develop red tourism to build a patriotic education base for young people.

1 Memorial Hall of Southwest Shandong Campaign: It covers an area of 123 mu, with a total construction area of over 6,000 square meters. It is divided into two parts: Southwest Shandong Campaign Exhibition Hall and Southwest Shandong Campaign Panorama Hall. Modern technologies such as "sound, light and electricity" are used to show the whole process from Liu Deng's army crossing the Yellow River to the battle of southwest Shandong marked by the successful end of Yangshan Campaign. Many precious historical photos, telegrams, letters and other revolutionary cultural relics are displayed in the Memorial Hall of Southwest Shandong Campaign, including the handwritten telegram from the Chairman to Liu and Deng, the photos of comrades crossing the Yellow River, the photos on their way to Dabie Mountain, the autographs of more than 50 old generals and leaders who participated in the Southwest Shandong Campaign, and books, military history, photo albums and audio-visual records about the Southwest Shandong Campaign.

2. Jinxiang Military and Cultural Center: covers an area of 100 mu, with a total construction area of 4,500 square meters. It mainly shows the major events and major achievements of Jinxiang and Yangshan in the historical process of China and Japan, so that tourists can understand the military and economic status of Jinxiang and Yangshan in the long history.

Wang Jie Memorial Hall: Covering an area of 66 mu, with a main building area of 3,000 square meters, it was built in memory of Wang Jie, the son and daughter of Jinxiang and a great capitalist warrior. Wang Jie Memorial Hall is a magnificent building, with a total height of16.8m and a length of 84m. The main building is supported by 48 columns, symbolizing the birth of the hero Wang Jie and the moment of his heroic sacrifice. The exhibits in the museum are rich in content, informative and novel. Nearly 60 places are unpublished materials that Wang Jie sacrificed for 45 years. There are many little-known historical materials in the exhibition hall, with vivid and touching plots and a large number of high-tech exhibition means, which have the first-class exhibition level in China.

4. Weapons Park: It covers an area of more than 30 mu, with existing weapons and equipment such as Dongfeng -2 missile, T34 tank, An -26 transport plane, H -5 bomber and J -6 fighter plane, and subsequent weapons and equipment are being declared.

(2) Ancient Town Cultural Experience Zone: located in the southwest of the planning area, including the main body of Yangshan Ancient Town, with an area of 1.58 square kilometers. Integrate the cultural experience of the ancient town with the high-end residence, and mainly build two functional divisions: the tourist business district and the high-end residential district. Using the rich resources of ancient town ruins, we can show a long history and culture, excavate local folk customs, restore ancient shops and workshops, and bring tourists a brand-new experience of visiting ancient times, feeling history and understanding folk customs.

(3) Campaign simulation area: located in the northwest of the scenic spot, with an area of 3.09 square kilometers. Develop and construct the theme park of Thirty-six Tactics, China War Park and World War Park, fully display the profound connotation of the ancient art book Thirty-six Tactics compiled by Tan Daoji, the general of Jinxiang Northern and Southern Dynasties, and show internationally famous war cases and typical war cases in China history in different ways. According to the different terrain, different CS actual combat simulation projects are carried out, which are divided into jungle warfare, mountain warfare, street warfare, tunnel warfare and water warfare. In addition, there will be activities such as model airplane park, directional treasure hunt and water jungle exploration. Through the participation and interaction of tourists, we can experience the wisdom of war and increase our military knowledge.

(4) Expanding sports area: located in the east of the scenic spot, with an area of 2.0 1 km2. It is divided into two parts: military training center and quality development base. Mainly use existing resources and venues to build militia training bases and carry out military training activities. In addition, according to the continuous growth of go on road trip and the needs of citizens' fitness and expansion activities, we will develop and construct expansion projects such as orienteering, car camp, outdoor expansion camp and go-karting experience.

(5) Geopark: Located in the west of the scenic spot, with an area of 0.76 square kilometers. There are many scenic spots and facilities in the Geopark, such as Caogong Pavilion, landscape bridge, tourist pier, mountain road around the lake, pedestrian trail around the lake and the longest Mopan Road in China. The mountain lake covers an area of more than 400 mu, and the small islands in the lake are dotted with each other, which is in harmony with the rocks on both sides of the strait, forming a strange and wonderful landscape of mountains and rivers and stone forests. There are rare Han groups in China around the Geopark, which have extremely high historical and archaeological value.

(6) Agro-ecological leisure area: located in the northeast of the scenic spot, with an area of 1.52 square kilometers. Give full play to the advantages of site resources, promote farming culture, show agricultural planting techniques, experience rural life, taste local dishes and appreciate rural customs. A fruit and vegetable picking garden, a farmhouse inn, a floating market and a leisure pier will be built to let tourists experience a different pastoral life.

As one of the "five major sectors" of Jinxiang County's economic and social development layout and a key construction project of cities and counties, the Scenic Area Management Committee was established in June 2009 and officially started development and construction. At present, the main project of the first phase of the scenic spot project has entered the final stage one after another and will be officially opened for operation. The second phase of the project has started, and some projects are being implemented.
