Jilin International Studies University, referred to as "Jiwai" and "Jisu" for short, is located in Changchun City, Jilin Province. 1995, Qin He founded Jilin Overseas Chinese Foreign Languages Institute; 1999, renamed as Jilin Overseas Chinese Foreign Language Vocational College, and included in the national enrollment plan of ordinary colleges and universities; In 2003, it was renamed Jilin Overseas Chinese Foreign Languages Institute and upgraded to an undergraduate college; In 20 17, it became a master's degree awarding unit; 20 18 was renamed as Jilin International Studies University.
