Jinghai Palace in Zhanjiang Nansan Island Tourist Resort

Located in Guangzhou Bay, Nansan Town Lighthouse, it was built in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of four hundred years. In September 1999, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Zhanjiang City. Jinghai Palace covers an area of ??240 square meters. It is located from southeast to northwest, facing the sea. It is dedicated to Mazu Lin Moniang, known as the "Goddess of Peace across the Straits." Everyone in the local boating community knows that incense is very popular. Many celebrities in Zhanjiang often go to Zhanjiang to offer incense and fulfill their wishes.

In addition to the statues of gods, there is also a large black stone enshrined in the palace. Legend has it that a fisherman once trawled the sea to catch fish. When he set up the net one day, there was only a big stone in the net without any fish. He was so angry that he threw the stone back into the sea. But the strange thing is that he changed the net in several places and always picked up this big rock. He suspected that gods were causing trouble, so he made a wish on the stone: "If you are a god, please bless me to fill the cabin with fish, and I will make you a god." Later, he returned home with a full load every day. The fishermen were very happy, so they erected the stone on the beach and built a temple to worship it. For hundreds of years, this Jinghai Palace has been popular. Jinghai Palace is only more than ten meters away from the sea and only two or three meters high from the sea. However, according to local fishermen, no matter how big the waves are on the sea, the sea water cannot reach the palace.
